Very clean, prime location

We had a wonderful time. The room was ready early and with the no hassle check in we went straight to the cottage and it was ready and waiting. Watched the sunrise from the patio, watched the salmon swimming by and the seals playing right out the front door. Excellent !

Simple. Quiet. Clean. Office not “on campus” but they checked on us by text and housekeeping was very attentive. We had no need to contact the office 2 blocks away. Conveniently walking distance from town and lighthouse trail. Had an ADA room with comfortable space to move around.

We arrived after Labor Day and Westport was pretty much shut down. It was difficult to find places to eat other than bars. Definitely a fishing town. The Westport Marina Cottages were excellent. Clean, cute, and very comfortable.

Hi, overall we had a good time. We have seen these cottages for a few years and thought someday. They are more expensive than a hotel room and because we come to Westport a lot we have stayed almost everywhere and this time it was our wedding anniversary so we decided to go for it for a couple of days. We enjoyed that we didnt have neighbors up above or attached. I didnt realize that their were some cottages not on the marina side. This was a bit of a bummer at first however we did enjoy the ocean view side moer than we thought we would and the marina was close to walk to. The processing plant next door was a little annoying early in the morning but as fairly early risers it wasnt too much of a hinderence. I chose this room for the king bed but if I had to do it again I might have chosen another cabin that had a bathtub.The seal for the shower wasnt great (totally get why) and water on the floor was an issue. Suggest a couple more towel bars, shelves, hooks and counter storage in bathroom. Good extra towels and blankets/pillows. Wish there had been more bedside storage and also out on the porch to set a drink on. There was a lot of cigarette butt receptacles outside, again we get it lots of smokers still and maybe more in westport but it was kind of yucky to have on our porch. We brought hot dogs and buns thinking we would roast at fire pit but that didnt seem like a good option when we saw what that was and if the BBQ was for all it was in pretty bad shape (dirty/moldy).

Great time, great view, great room. Quiet stay, across from the beach. Great food in town too!
