Very cute clean motel.. quiet! Enjoyed staying there and would again

Great value for the area. Extremely clean, free convenient parking and friendly staff.

Everything laid out comfortably. TV easy to access familiar channels. Great lamps with charging ports. AC managed great in HEAT. Parked at our door.

Good location

Overall it’s you get what you’re paying for. The staff was very friendly and the outside of the property was nice (fire pits, benches, yard games, etc.) The bed was extremely uncomfortable, mini fridge was broken so food went bad, and the towels are very rough. They also keep a plunger in the bathroom which I thought was odd. Breakfast is just pre-wrapped muffins you get from the store. Like I said, you get what you pay for.

Motel was clean and quiet. We enjoy this motel and it is our second stay here. Pool is great with towels. No complaints. Clean, Quiet and comfortable. Can't ask for anything better than that.

Nice pool quiet place with fire pits and grills.

Very comfortable retro feel that was extremely clean and tidy. Lots of places to sit outdoors. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Parking right in front of your room was super convenient and the location was just minutes to downtown Saugatuck. Would definitely stay there again.

i used to frequent starlite for many years, even before it was renovated to what it is now. A recent experience at the property, leaves me to never stay again or recommend to anyone. Clearly managament watches your every move on property which is creepy itself. but if you accidently break one of the million rules, watch yourself. As in my 18 year old grandson had a nerf footbal in his hand and was rudely approached in the parking lot about it. My daughter, yes broke a rule with chips at the pool,but the menacing way she was approached and spoken to was totally unacceptable in any setting for a stranger. Imagine a grown man standing over a young woman and blocking her in??? And then was asked if she had a room at the hotel. i gladly checked out after and respent my money elsewhere.

This property was so well kept, so beautifully decorated and the staff was exceptional. Location was great as well! Loved everything about this little hidden gem!

We have stayed here many times. The owner is amazing, constantly checking in on the guests, the facility is clean, heat for families and well stocked with everything you need! One of our favorite vacations.

Reminiscent of a 70's roadside motel with a MCM vibe within a rustic setting. The room was cozy and clean. We only stayed one night and didn't use the pool or firepits but they are a nice little bonus. We've gotten used to using the soaps and shampoos offered where we stay and didn't bring any along. The Starlite doesn't supply any so if you forget yours, head into town and visit the Saugatuck Drug Store for a decent selection.

The resort was perfect for our mini-getaway. The owners of the property were also very kind.

A throwback to travel the way it used to be! Family friendly, clean, and outstanding customer service. Super easy access to everything in the area. Very close to Pennyroyal, one of the best restaurants in the area. I would stay here again without question!

Was happily surprised. They really did a great job on the facilities, very inviting.

Tried this establishment on a whim as we usually stay at another hotel and I think this will be our new go to place when we vacation in the area. Check in was fast and very friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy. The outdoor area has a spotless pool/hot tub area and fire pits and grill available for guests, a bonus! Guests actually use the sitting areas outside of their rooms so we were able to meet some very nice people during our stay.

Great little motel that’s had a glow up. We would liked to have stayed longer to use the pool and fire pit but we were there only a short time. Cute rooms, bed was comfy. We would stay again. Charging station for our hybrid was a bonus too.

Property manager is always improving this place. He's also very friendly.

I've stayed here for a few times now and it's just such a great property,. Clean rooms, a quick car ride to downtown, great pool, wonderful family owned businesses!

Very cute retro style motel. Great service and very friendly. Clean and well taken care of property. When i think resort i expect soft towels and hot breakfast. I did not get those. Pool was very nice and clean.

The motel was so clean and fresh. The pool was great! We would stay again! Next time I would bring my own shampoo and conditioner. We only stayed one night so I thought I would get by. No conditioner. Was surprised they had bagels and danishes as well as juice and coffee complimentary in the morning.

We came in for a family birthday party for 1 night. Wish we could have stayed longer or that the party was here as the grounds here are set up so nicely. There are 3-4 fire pits with chairs surrounding and 4 gazebos with tables and chairs under them with a grill right there. The pool and hot tub area is expansive and very nice. Will definitely return with my granddaughter. She will love it!

I love this place. We have stayed before and will again. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool has been redone and is heated! The hot tub worked well. I love the fire pits and the grounds are very nicely done. This is also a pet friendly hotel which makes it desirable for families with pets. This is a great stay for families and/or couples.

This is a nice well kept up motel. Fresh rooms and great grounds. Only downside is a king size bed would have been better but we knew this coming in. The owner told me that next year all rooms will have king size beds. Good hardworking family run business.

Our first time visiting. It was an excellent experience! From the check in with the nicest older gentlemen to the wonderful outdoor fire pits, grills, outdoor seating, heated outdoor pool and hot tub! Our room was right next to the ice/vending room. Breakfast was just your basic cereal, oatmeal, pastries and juices (which was fine with us). Had a great vibe and minutes from downtown Saugatuck. We will be back for sure!!
