Old monastary was beautifull, but on service side and breakfast there is much to improve.
27€ for continetal breakfast is not worth it. Rooms are very simple and plain.

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Very modern rooms in a historic building. A bit of a hike up the hill from town area where we walked to see attractions.

The common areas of the hotel were spectacular and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was fairly simple but clean and comfortable. The only concern, and its minor, was that the hot tub and steam room in the spa were lukewarm.

Menu options very limited as there is virtually nowhere to eat nearby. No information nor menus in the rooms. Wasn’t told that there was info on the key until I checked out. Beautiful building and great staff.

We were there for just one night. To see the Olympic futball game. The hotel was stunning. Amazing building. We were unable to enjoy any of the surrounding things.

This was just an overnight stop over and was convenient for our plans. A lovely property at the top of Lyon so not advisable if you want to walk into the centre but an easy stroll to the cathedral and great views over the city. If we had hot water on the morning we were departing I would have not hesitated to give an excellent score all around. I would also add that the drinks are expensive a bit of an annoyance at many hotels which puts you off stopping at the bar but that’s not a complaint.

Everything about this hotel was incredible. The moment you walk into the lobby, you’re transported to another world and feel as if you’re part of something historic.
Every staff member we encountered was friendly and at our service.
The worst part about our stay is that we have to leave.

Wonderful unique property. Walking distance to Roman museum, basilica Notre-Dame of Fourvière and tram to Lyon shopping and dining. Nice spa and we enjoyed the quiet area around the pool.

A short stay before embarking on a river cruise. We loved everything about our stay! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast with an extensive variety of choices on the courtyard lawn. The pool was a 10/10! And on a hot summer day the AC was a wonderful reprieve. This will easily be added to our list of places to return.

Absoloutely beautiful hotel, stunning building, dining area and pool. The breakfast was OK but extremely unpractical and felt that it was chaotic, far too little place to move, no place to put tray when trying to get food, not much room at all and tea and coffee had to wait 5 minutes in queue, seriously need to rethink set up here. Otherwise fantastic service from especially the young lady who served us dinner, and so beautiful to eat dinner and breakfast in the courtyard. Lovely pool and garden, really enjoyed this superb hotel, stayed for 1 night and didnt leave once!

An extraordinary property exquisitely renovated and with a dream of a front desk staff. It seems a world away from the city, but is just a short funicular ride down. A very special hotel.

My airline lost my bag and your reception staff were extremely helpful in communicating with the airline in order to get it delivered. They were extremely helpful in everything I asked for help with.

What a beautiful property in an old cloister! While not in the middle of Lyon, it was not too far to the funicular down to old Lyon.

Such a pretty hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Nice comfy rooms (very generous with towels - amazing) and lovely facilities. The pool and garden are beautiful and easy to relax and while away a day in.
The food and drink prices are high (40 euros each for breakfast!) but we found lots of lovely places in the local neighbourhood instead (especially the Boulangerie in St Just - amazing).
Highly recommended.

So another 4-star hotel that disappoints a bit. The staff is full of good intentions but just does not reach a 4-star level. I feel it boils down to lack of training and good management. E.g. we had a stranger coming into our room as the wrong key was handed out. A requested car service was not ordered but switched to another more expensive driver, even though I was told otherwise! Extremely slow service during our first lunch. Had booked two rooms, for our don to be close, but ended up on opposite sides of the hotel.
