La Isleta is a beautiful property with lots of charm. It will transport you to a true paradise place. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and nicely kept. The property is water front, just steps from the beach. Dominique, the host, is super friendly and helpful. He kindly allowed us to delay our check out so could deal with an unexpected situation. The restaurant next to the property serves great food! All around a great place and I’d be happy to stay there again on my next trip to Las Galeras.

My family and I enjoyed staying in la Isleta. The place is super clean, comfortable and safe. Have a variety of restaurants to enjoy a delicious meal. Beach is right across.
Dominique is a great host, responsive and always available to assist with any questions or concerns. The room is equipped with everything that you need to make your stayed comfortable. The staff are super friendly and the breakfast is really good.
I highly recommend.
Thanks Dominique for having your space available and making us feel like home away from home.

It is a very good place for family and also for singles, I am very happy that I chose it. I loved it, I give it 5 stars.

Comfortable hotel/apartments with ample front porches for hanging out after a day at the beach. Wonderful place for those avoiding resorts. Also, the hotel owner Dominique told us about a beach a half hour drive away and it was the most amazing, magical, unspoilt beach we had ever seen, Playa Rincon. My teens and I really enjoyed that. The hotel supplied a large container of clean water and keep the place clean. Beautiful garden on the grounds. Location is convenient in this small, sleepy town. There is some construction on the main road in Las Galeras, hopefully that will be done soon.

This property was great, beach is close by. The person taking care of the property is very friendly and also the kitchen staff are great . The property is still under construction but my family and had a great time. One thig is parking is very small.

Loved my stay. The kitchen and room was well outfitted and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Dominick communicated well the entire trip and helped me with arranging tours. Wonderful breakfast with a view. Would go and stay again. Pretty gardens and clean nice pool, easy access to the beach.

Overall my stay was fine. There are only about 5 parking spots, so if the are sold out you may have to pro on the street. Hotel is walking distance to Las Galeras beach and the center of town which is great. My room (Mango) was extremely underwhelming for what I paid, but air conditioning was good and the room was clean overall. We did not use the pool because it did not look too clean. Breakfast is simple but very good.

The location is impeccable, and I really enjoyed how our room had three beds and a beautiful outdoor patio with a hammock. It was spacious, and perfect for traveling with two teenagers.

This is an excellent location, very quiet close to restaurant and beaches. Excellent service, starting with the owner and the staff. The rooms, the pool and the breakfast were excellent. Our family didn't want to leave, we felt so comfortable. We will definitely come back to this hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay was wonderful. The owner is always happy to chat with you and offer suggestions to restaurants and places to visit.
A truly perfect location. Situated beside the beach offers stunning views. A really unique hotel. Our stay was in mid March as the corona virus was starting to be a problem and the heightened anxiety made the enjoyment a little off but the wonderfully staff kept all the guests spirits up. Thanks so much for that. I wish you and all your staff safety and hope that your lives will return to normal soon. Truly a stay we will always remember.

The owner and workers at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It was like being with family. The complementary breakfast was a full scale American breakfast with coffee/tea, fresh fruit plate, eggs and toast, cereal if you preferred. It was very delicious and filling. The staff made their own papaya/pineapple jelly for the toast. It was delicious. There were also some local bar/restaurants that we enjoyed. Especially liked a local French/Thai place near the hotel. The owners were friendly and the food was great.

It is a quiet place to stay at the beach. The owner is always there. They serve fresh fruit and a good breakfast. The pool is very clean. You can go walking to the beach.

I love staying here. The room is spacious and comfortable with a lovely porch where you can relax and enjoy the gorgeous view. The owner is kind and helpful and a great resource for helping you find the best plans for your stay. I would strongly recommend La Isleta

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was close to where we wanted to be - the beach and restaurants. Very friendly host, nice breakfast each morning, enjoyable pool, and QUIET as it is off of the main street.

We just came back from our trip to Las Galeras. That hotel was magical for my needs.Very friendly stuff,very cozy and location?!?Every room has ocean view with few steps away. Few steps just behind the corner and youre already in the city between shops and restaurants. Owners name is Dominic. This guy will help you how to schedule rest of your trip and will get you great local cab driver.You dont need to think about anything else.

The accomodation was nice. Kitchenette, small bed and bath downstairs with medium and large beds upstairs. Mosquito netting was available to drop from the ceiling around all beds but was not needed. Owner Dominique was very friendly and helpful with restaurant and sight seeing advice. The free breakfast which normally starts at 8:00 opened at 7:00 for us so we could make our reservation in Samana. Breakfast was wonderfull. Many different fresh fruits, toast with jelly, coffee, orange juice. The only downside was the surprise that payment had to be made with cash or paypal, even though we reserved the room with Master Card. So be prepared with PayPal logon ID and Password or carry cash.
