Excellent motel. Kids LOVED the well-kept pool. Super clean and spacious, we enjoyed our stay. It was excellent value for money and the owner was very attentive. Room was extremely clean and functional.

Great value. Comfy beds. The blue stone gravel makes for early departures being noisy. Being picky. Otherwise. Check a breeze and friendly. Road noise good. Rooster at 6:30am needs to be spoken too.

This is a lovely quiet property with fantastic hosts, it may not be as flashy as some but the rates are reasonable and the place is supremely clean

Bathroom facilities were great. Lounge seating with dining table and chairs.

It was a wonderful motel with fabulous pool and camp kitchen. The bathroom was stashed with everything you needed. I shall be back. Had great time and 10min walk to sporties club

Lovely part of our holiday and close to Thompson’s beach (few minutes in car) and the rest of cobram is accessible too.

Have stayed before with previous owners and stayed again with new owners. Reason for staying was been before, best value for money find it quiet and huge selection of Foxtel channels. Comfortable bed and only 8-12 rooms,great Chinese food in walking distance, room had hot plate and equipment to prepare meals if chosen to. I would definitely recommend this property and when in the area it’s definitely the only place we will stay.

This is a very comfortable motel with kitchenettes with everything you need supplied. Yes it looks a little dated but it is very clean and very comfortable. There is free foxtel, free wifi and nicely appointed room that is well set up. We slept very well and will be back again on our next time through Barooga.

We were lookong for a place to stay that was cheap, clean and comfortable. This motel is definitely that. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Honestly can't believe how clean it was. We would stay here again.

Ive stayed in several different motels in the Cobram/Barooga area; none of them are new or particularly modern and the Sunrise is no exception. However it is well-maintained and the room was very clean. I booked a King unit room which was very large, with a couch, king bed, single bed, separate kitchen and bathroom. The room was quiet, and the blockout curtains enabled a good sleep in after a late night. Note if you are returning after dark you should leave your external light switched on before you leave, as there was no street/public lighting outside the rooms.The staff were very friendly. I would happily stay here again on a future visit to the area.
