Great country experience, views of rolling hills yet 10 minutes from downtown Waterford.

Convenient location, great pub and breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff.

A very nice hotel with lots of free parking. Location right next to a major thoroughfare made for some noise during the day. However, traffic was almost non-existent after around 11:00 pm. Hotel has a dining room and bar that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dinner options were adequate. We didn't want to drive another 15 km to town to find a restaurant. Their bar was also well stocked. So, there's really no reason to leave the property. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom had a very nice tub/shower. But there was a problem with the boiler for hot water while we were there. So, we couldn't bathe or shower. The hotel was gracious enough to give us free breakfast the next morning to compensate for the lack of hot water. Overall, a wonderful stay. Would stay there again.

The hotel looked as though everything had been freshly painted and very clean. It was further away from town than I expected but the pub had a lovely ambiance - food was good and the staff was great

The room was lovely, but the pillows were extremely hard, and the mattress was very soft and lumpy.

It was an older property but the service, cleanliness was excellent

The hearing was on overdrive: the radiators were very hot even though the weather wasn’t cold. We could not adjust the radiator so we had to sleep with the window wide open and heard traffic and rain during the night that. Wouldn’t have disturbed us if the window had been closed.

We loved this hotel. Beds in family suite were amazing. Tired after our long flight and the beds and bedding were like a dream. So comfortable. Slept soundly. Friendly front desk, restaurant and bar staff. Delicious breakfast Lots of parking. Wish we stayed longer. Hope to return one day.

A hotel in a time warp. grandeur in the main reception and down hill from there. Tiny , old double bed to sleep in

The bedroom was cold with no double glazing which meant it was noisy particularly as it’s close to a busy road. Otherwise the food is very good and staff are pleasant.

It was during the heat wave. No fans available, understandable no AC. But was told to just deal with it by the desk person. Opened the window and someone smoking outside our window filling the room w/the smell.

We stayed at the Rhu Glenn while sightseeing in the area. Good size clean rooms, that were quiet, despite the location. Easy check in. Food was extremely good and staff exceptional.

We stayed at Rhu Glenn as our daughters were involved in a Squash competition in Dunhill. They were staying in Waterford centre but we wanted a bit of peace and quiet so booked a hotel a bit further out. Parking is free & there were lots of spaces. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist & the place was very quaint & old fashioned but in a nice way. It reminded me of a Rugby club or Golf Club. It’s not modern but it was clean, warm & comfortable. And a good price for food & drink. They had a great singer in the bar that night too. If you want a good price to stay overnight with nice home-cooked food & friendly staff I’d recommend this place. It’s a bit like staying at your great auntie’s house but I couldn’t fault it.

We were there for a dance .we had a meal before the dance . Beautiful. Our room was nice and clean. After the dance was over . Came back to our room.. could not get to sleep with the noise from the smoķing room and the late bar. I did ring down at 1.30 . And spoke to a girl . She said it would be sorted just for a little while
