Interesting, very busy place, and i think that meant staff over busy. We had someone walk into our room whilst we were getting ready for dinner (thankfully the chap realised). Then in the restaurant when orderinf we were told that it was 40 mins as the kitchen was buay. Calamari not great, choice of drinks great and good quality - staff really pleasant and helpful

Lovely food and accommodation

Great room, fabulous and well cooked breakfast also good value at £15 for 2 (ex drinks). Staff very attentive and clearly cared.

Excellent location with a wonderful restaurant and bar. The food options and staff were amazing. There wasn’t any reason to explore alternate food places because the food and staff exceeded our expectations.

The bed was really comfortable and it was a King size as advertised, which was great. The rooms were thoughtfully done out with lovely touches such as the cooling fan, fridge and the Nespresso machine. We ate in the restaurant and the steak and chicken was really tasty. Everyone one we encountered was really helpful, so good service. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the Marina, so well situated.

Excellent hotel, food was extremely good and rooms were excellent, Clean well presented and comfortable.

The room was lovely with soft pillows, dyson fan, coffee pods, mini fridge with fresh milk and bottled water.

Clean, nice location, good food

The fire alarm went off 3 times in a night, I didn't sleep that night.

The staff were very welcoming and informative. Happy to help. Room was spacious and bed was nice and big. Zbed for the little one was great too. Facilities were great in the room. A little bit of a disturbed sleep, noisy fridge that woke me several times. Apart from that a really pleasant stay and would recommend and will return.

Friendly welcome and very clean and super comfy room with thoughtful touches on the facilities. Food options are great as well and its fairly quiet at night. Only a few problems with the room marred the experience; the TV did not work, also, the bathroom fan did not shut off and the fridge was noisy, which both impacted my sleep.

Very nice people running the place. Room was comfortable. Food was ok. Area a bit noisy and not much to walk to or choice of restaurants. Many marina repair businesses in the area.I would probably stay closer to cruise port if you are leaving on a cruise. There are many dining and fun shops in the area.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed. I am not sure we would come back if it were not for the convenience of its proximity to Swanwick Marina. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, but small. This time there was a problem with the boiler that meant we had no hot water the first morning. We have joined with our friends for dinner on the Friday night 3 years running. The food was excellent the first couple of times, but this time left a lot to be desired. The staff were helpful, especially Olli, our waiter this year.

First stay here, but hopefully not my last. Really nice room, spacious and quiet at the back. Very friendly service in the restaurant, good selection of beers and London Pride on normal draught which was suprisingly good. Wine was expensive: Pds. 40 for a liter of Merlot (Pds. 30 for a bottle)

Had a great two nights stay...we were given a room upstairs at the back which was nice and quiet..the en suite was a little tight but clean...the bedroom was compact but nicely laid out...the range of teas/coffee including hot chocolate and biscuits are a lovely touch... bathroom range of soap/shampoo/lotions are of good quality...had a great stay.. will be back... Lovely hotel. Staff are very helpful and polite. The food for both breakfast and evening meal was lovely. Lots of choice and hot. The rooms have lovely neutral decor and are very comfortable. Could not fault anything. Would definitely stay again- thank you!

The staff and property were great. Accommodation price was reasonable but food and drinks expensive

That an amazing room. Attention to detail was really surprising and far above that I expected. I think anyone booking this accommodation would realise they had made the right choice. On par with the best hotels in the UK. I would definitely use them again and again.

Excellent service

Such a comfortable place to stay. Although small, the room has everything needed including fresh milk and water. We stated for two nights and we returned to find fresh towels and milk and water refreshed. Staff were friendly too. Great stay.

Nice inn with great restaurants. It was perfect for our stay over before cruising out of Southampton. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was reasonably priced and very good.

The price was great and the reviews were accurate. The menu solidified the decision. Enjoyed some well-made Old Fashioned, as well. The staff were exceptional in every endeavour. If the in the area again, I know where I will be staying again. Impressed.
