Wonderful place to stay in Lexington,Va. Owners are very personable and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Walkable to downtown Lexington and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. Highly recommend!!

Quiet, lovely inn with very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was generous and well presented! Hosts were responsive and friendly. Only surprise was that Expedia listed the room as accommodating three people at a certain price and I learned upon arrival that the twin cot being added was an additional cost. Typically if a room with a queen can accommodate more than two people, there’s a sofabed involved and the cost is the cost. That said, we were very happy with our stay and hope to return!

Wonderful last minute find as we were passing through Lexington Virginia. The host family were very professional and attentive to all our needs during our stay. I would highly recommend the Abigail Inn for a short or longer stay in the area.

This was a wonderful experience. They stayed up late to welcome us in, and prepared an amazing breakfast. The room was spacious, pristine, and very comfortable. Would recommend, and we will likely plan future travels around the opportunity to stay here again.

Thierry and Jessica were phenomenal hosts. This B&B is a perfect spot in the Shenandoah Valley. My wife and I enjoyed the amenities and the hospitality. Very easy walk to downtown Lexington which has numerous shops and dining options, plus the history of two great collegiate institutions and the legendary Stonewall Jackson. We loved every minute here and are excited to return again in the future. Merci!

A beautiful inn in a charming town. I had a huge room and a huge breakfast, both most enjoyable. Lovely property with nice sitting areas outside. Easy walk to town for dinnner. The host and his family aim to please, and succeeded.

This property is in excellent condition, is in a convenient location to dining and shopping (walking distance) and is owned and operated by a very gracious host and hostess. Also, the innkeeper prepares an excellent breakfast. When we travel through the area in the future we will stay at the Abigail Inn.

Excellent Experience! We received a warm welcome to this absolutely beautiful, historical property. It was so clean and the decor was elegant, tasteful and inviting. There were many added touches such as a bottle of wine, cookies, expresso machine and water bottles in our room. We had a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge mountains and the bed was comfortable. The best part was was our made to order breakfast in the stately dining room. The omelettes were perfection! The owners were very friendly, and we will definitely be back if we’re in the area again! We also recommend checking out the nearby Natural Bridge.

Thierry, the innkeeper, was the consumate host. We stayed in the Marshall room and found it to be commodious, very clean, quiet, and generally delightful. We enjoyed the delicious from scratch breakfast and conversation with other guests. A visit to the Abigail Inn is like visiting friends in a fine Virginia home. The inn is close to downtown making walking to dinner and shopping convenient.

5 star service and hospitality! My room was immaculate and my bathroom was spotless. The 1927 large colonial is well kept and maintained by a lovely couple. Just hands down, Excellent!

The Inn is fantastic, comfortable, convenient to everything and beautiful. The innkeepers Thierry, Jessica and Princess Hanalei are friendly, professional and more than accomodating. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

They are also in the process of adding a beautiful outdoor sitting area. This big lovely Inn is also in walking distance to great restaurants. They also have quite a variety for breakfast! So delicious! Do yourself a favor and plan a trip to stay at the Abigail Inn !!

It’s perfectly located in proximity to downtown Lexington, all within walking distance, plenty of parking at hotel,
Nice complimentary bottle of wine waiting in the room, The owners reside onsite which assures you a magnificent stay! Thanks for the experience we will be staying again soon
