A very unique Hampton Inn property. The mansion and walkways were beautiful.

What a unique property! My only complaint was that the only cold creal choices at breakfast were all unhealthy sugar bombs. Most places at least offer raisin bran as a relatively healthy alternative. Everything else was amazing! I will definitely be back!

Location was great. Liked the historic main building. Not much views from single window though. Room had limited natural light. The continental breakfast was not good. Superior packaged processed foods. Grounds in front was pretty and overall well kept. Staff interaction was pleasant and professional.

I loved staying at the Hampton Inn in Lexington, VA. The room was very comfortable and clean. breakfast was amazing and Donna , who staffed breakfast, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was delightful. Check in was smooth and we loved the facility. It is elegant and classy.

Stayed with our dog. Good for pets. Being greeted by the hotel cat Colonel made it extra special.

Very friendly receptionist,(bucky), who sorted a minor issue as i added a day to the trip after arriving and was allowed to retain the same room, even though it was reserved for another guest arriving, but they gave them a free upgrade without them even knowing.

Was not told that my room was easily accessible from rear entrance. With full lot where to park was not clear.

Old mansion converted to a Hotel.Very well done with good attention to detail. It's a brief walk to downtown and restaurants. There is also a grocery store basically across the street. Great location, clean, good service, no concerns at all.

Historic 1827 home repurposed as main facility for hotel; lobby, checkin, breakfast and social gathering areas with expansion added for hotel rooms, meeting and conference rooms that integrate architecturally onto the original home. 10 minute walk to downtown Lexington for dining.

The rooms smell terrible. We used to stay here fairly often as we have a student-athlete at a nearby university and we come up for a lot of games. But as we moved in our daughter this weekend, the two rooms we had both smelled like wet pets. It was so gross. I love my dogs, but I don't need to take them everywhere and this hotel smells like animals. GROSS!

Very nice clean property which was close to town. Pool area was very enjoyable in courtyard. Breakfast dining room of main historic building was very nice with outside porch. Room was spacious with very comfortable bed. Will definetly stay here again if in the area.

We would definitely stay here again. It was quiet and conveniently located - within walking distance to downtown Lexington and it was only a short drive to Natural Bridge Park, the Virginia Safari Park and Devil's Backbone Brewery. Loved drinking our coffee out on the veranda in the morning, enjoying the view!

We are first-timers and overall, it’s a great place to stay. We did notice the general facility is in need of painting. Some of the wood gates need repair. Our door to our room was difficult to open.
