Comfortable, bijou single room. Street parking limited to finding a space. great breakfast. friendly, welcoming staff.

Except for the fact no one was there when I arrived (they had emailed me but I hadn't seen it) It was a comfortable place to stay and breakfast was delicious. It was in a perfect location for my plans. The owners were very friendly.

A family room at this property cost £20 more than an equivalent room at the Premier Inn. As such I would expect the rooms to be on par with, or better than that. The owner seems a nice enough person but the property has not been maintained well. The en suite in particular was very poor, with mould and dirt. Many guests had dogs which meant there was a smell of dog around the place. It was very run down and depressing. One of my children has asthma and being in a damp and mouldy space is not good for his health. My daughter found the en suit so unpleasant she was reluctant to use the toilet. We tried to find alternative accommodation but could not at such short notice. The streets around the hotel had a lot of litter and dog much which is not the fault of the hotel but adds to the unpleasantness of the experience.

Staff where very friendly & accommodating. Great central location, would definately visit again. Breakfast was also very good 👍

A guest house I wouldn’t revisit or recommend. Very old fashioned. Very dirty. Did not attempt to use the shower which had black mould round the door. Paintwork all scuffed. Toothbrush holder dirty. Table lamps all torn and dusty. Bed sheets off white/grey. Only had tea and toast for breakfast as didn’t know what the kitchen was like! The only nice thing I can say is that the central heating was working ok, there was free parking and the two men who ran the property were very pleasant.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were tasty and generous. Beds comfortable.

The staff were excellent however the room is very standard and the beds not that comfortable. There were a number of hairs on the sheets that were not ours.

The twin room was a good size , needs new mattress topper for the double bed . the bathroom was very spacious , just had a few cobwebs and a bit off dust on the skirting and tile tops . But other than that the hosts were lovely people to get on with , and very polite and ready to help or give advice if you needed it . the full English breakfast was lovely , very obliging if you wanted something cooked a different way . Both my sister and I would stay there again .

Very comfortable beds. Slept wonderfully. Host accommodated a late check in as it was a last minute trip, and were also very friendly. Breakfast was delicious (although would have appreciated a menu or choice as both husband and I wouldn't have chosen different items on it!) Very good location and clean and tidy.

friendly owner stayed 2nights midweek i booked a single for myself and dog but had been upgraded to small dble clean comfy modern decor nice big shower good well cooked breakfast

I would never stay here again, there was mould and dust everywhere, the room looked like it hadnt been cleaned, the mattress and topper had what looked like urine stains all over them, the place was grotty and awful, we ended up moving to another B&B as we couldn't spend another night here, the photos on this site are nothing like what we saw in person, very disappointed that hotels.com do not vet these places before advertising them

Unwelcoming, unclean, unfriendly and grotty. Only stayed one night and had to leave. Not as advertised.

The Guest House was adequate for our stay. It was a top floor rooom that was an ok size. The location was excellent for our visit to the Briglington Spa. All the staff were excellent and the reception was lovely. The breakfast was very nice too. The only issues we had was a squeaky bed and no soap in sink area for washing hands.

Perfect for what we needed. Attended a local venue for New Year's Eve. Value for money. Welcoming hosts. Room warmed quickly once radiator turned on. Beds comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep. Cooked breakfast also.

Very friendly owner and staff , helpful re our late arrival . Clean and comfortable bed , bedroom and bathroom . Excellent hot breakfast . Near the south bay , beach and facilities , easy access to the harbour area .

It was a dated room, which isn't a problem but the cleanliness was terrible. Hair and mould everywhere.

The hosts were very friendly. Excellent location. Breakfast very good. Basic accommodation but that’s what we wanted as we were only going for one night & needed somewhere pet friendly. Would definitely stay again

Staff fantastic and friendly, but the room was not what we expected, bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable, room very very outdated, and there was dust everywhere, shower was very tiny not a nice room
