Second time I’ve stayed there. Great value for someone just needing a clean comfortable room. No frills such as free breakfast or a pool. Just a nice room at a great price. I also like the convenience of a motel - just back up into your room’s parking stall for a quick unloading. Only downside is the rooms are smaller than other hotels in the area. However I’m not going to pay 50% more for some added space. I’ve already booked my room for my next visit to Minocqua.

Couldn't lock my door when I left and it was unlocked when I got there. Nobody in the office and was told someone would look into it and never did.

Location was very convenient, came up to visit family 1 night. I was very put off by the rusty water, to the point I couldn’t shower and bought bottled water to brush teeth. I don’t hold this against the owners but I wish I had known. There is no mention of this in any reviews I have read.

The room had an awful smell when we entered, almost like puke. I actually considered just leaving and going somewhere else and counting our losses, but decided to stay. Bed felt like it sagged, not very comfortable. Now looking at reviews I see that other people in the past have thought it smelled also, obviously nothing is being done about that. Won’t be staying here anytime in the future.

Super cozy rooms in a great area. Excellent Wifi and the bed was great.

Easy to get into/out of the very clean room.

The one thing that I really was not happy with is that the room smelled like puke when entering. Not sure if this is something that is part of a cleaning solution or not being clean. It just stunk and I was not impressed with that.
