Breakfast was ok! At least we had something decent for our 400.00+ stay! We will definitely book at a different location next time!

-no pool, uncomfortable beds, bedding was disgusting, staff were rude and appearance was sketchy

Alana wolf was super helpful, we really enjoyed talking with her. Barb was also very helpful. Everything we asked or requested was addressed. Definitely will stay there again, just for the warm cookies alone! Lol.

Small workout room that was really cold and it Didnt have an eliptical.

The hotel is dirty I had to pay to get a vacuum from front desk then pick up piles of towels and garbage Your picnic area is toilet for construction workers Cigarette buttes trash and charcoal ash had to be cleaned by guests. Staff never touched it

The stay was very good. The desk staff was excellent and took care of all of our needs promptly. The breakfast in the lobby is very nice, good coffee! We have stayed at the American Inn many times and will continue to stay here when we are in Minocqua. We were up for the busy July 4th weekend and the staff was excellent in taking care of the many guests at the hotel. We need a first floor room and the desk was sure we got one. We needed to extend our stay and that was not a problem either.

Bathrooms are somewhat small.

The woman who checked us in around 10pm on May 28th was fantastic. We originally hadn't planned to be traveling with a puppy, but when we got there she ensured we were right by the door on the first floor so we could easily take her out at night. She was super friendly, helpful, got our trailer parking figured out (easy - they have a great big lot perfect for parking boats and trailers) and was very accommodating. They have a nice big lawn with fire pits and picnic tables and the rooms were great. Location can't be beat! Thanks guya

The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn't working and the dresser and night stand drawers needed to be wiped out.

I had to listen to hours of the whirlpool bath in the room next-door. Very poor insulation and it was very loud. Booking.com also states that everybody should wear a mask in the building. Not a single staff member was wearing a mask. I can understand if you don’t want your staff to police guests about masks, but at least the staff should be wearing them

We can always count on Americinn to have a comfy clean night stay. And a delicious variety of food and beverages to enjoy in the morning. Staff are always friendly and upbeat.

The bedroom did have a strong air freshener sent that irritated my sinuses a bit. Possible smoker the night before?

Facilities were in excellent shape, clean and convenient. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
