Our stay at the Fairfield Marriot in Gaylord was excellent! The rooms were
very clean and the service was excellent. The front desk staff, Krista, not sure if this spelling is correct,was very professional and courteous and made sure our stay was excellent. She truly went above and beyond and I would consider Marriot giving her a promotion would be my recommendation! The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious especially the make your own waffles! Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was amazing! It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hot breakfast was delicious with a ton of choices. It felt very safe and the staff was wonderful and friendly. Next time we are in Gaylord, we will stay here. Have stayed at others in the area. They don't come close. Only negative was the toilet broke that morning. Strangely enough, I have never stayed at a hotel in Gaylord that had good plumbing. I think it's a town thing.

I encountered some check in glitches. The day before my stay I received an email from Fairfield to check in early. When I tried to check in the email said that there wasn't a reservation for me. So I panicked and tried calling the Fairfield in Gaylord. I tried three times calling the number listed on the website only to get a recording stating that the number is no longer in service. I arrived at the Fairfield the next morning wondering if there would be a room for me. There was. I told the attendant about the recording and she was not aware of the issue. I wonder why staff would not know that their phone number sometimes doesn't work. It would certainly discourage people from making reservations. I was totally frustrated by the whole experience. I hope they get that phone number issue worked out.

I stopped there late in the evening, and left fairly quickly in the morning, which doesn’t normally iliicit much feedback for a review. But room and building was extremely nice and comfortable, and service was excellent and memorable. GM was playing desk clerk, night auditor, bartender and more, but still offered excellent service and warm conversation.

An employee named Chris met me at the check in area and was so sweet and friendly. Really went out of his way to help me with my luggage and rolled the luggage gondola to my room. I'm nearly 80 years old and have back and leg problems. I didn't ask him, he just helped! The hallways are clean and fresh, the room pristine.I definitely wilk come back here again.

Its a decent hotel, but $150 incidental charge is very high. Yes, it was fully refunded but i have never been charged that much.

Carpet had spots missing, shower was unusable because the spout let water go everywhere. If you didn’t wash your hair you didn’t have a choice, and no hair dryer. Front desk girl that was trying was not nice or welcoming. Other front desk people were nice. Overall not worth the price point. Better to stay at the comfort suites across the street. Bigger rooms and cheaper.

Hot tub was not working. The only reason we booked this hotel for the face that the surrounding hotels did not have hotels. It was advertised a hot tub.

I love staying at Fairfield Gaylord. It's always clean and comfortable. During peak seasons, I cannot afford to stay here for extended periods, but off-season, I love staying here. It's a treat.

Pulled up to check in. Few people were setting outside throwing back a few. Sounded like they had been doing it for a while. Check in was ok, no issues. Got up to the room. Then we started the odyssey. Found hair on the floor in the bathroom, ok not the cleanest motel. Then pulled back the bed. Found hair all over the bed. Called down to complain. We were told to come get some new keys and they would move us. We gathered our bags and went to the next room. Pulled back the covers before we unpacked. Well, our friend the hair was there too. The sheet looked like it hadn't been changed in a few months. The lady at the desk was in the room with us. So, I pulled the comforter off and found more hair. The front desk lady got new clean sheets and changed out everything for us. Needless to say, the room felt unclean after that point.

There was a woman at the front desk named Meagan who went out of her way to help us get enhanced WIFI so my wife could participate in an important Zoom meeting in Virginia.

The staff were the most friendly and kind people we have found. They were kind to each other and the guests. How refreshing to get a smile and conversation from everyone who passes by. 10 stars.

Hotel = nice, staff = outstanding. Large family that acted like they owned the place and kids were 100% out of control =bad. Also snowmobilers with truck and trailers park anywhere and everywhere.

Only dissapointment was that the Hot Tub was not available.

Booked a king size bed over a month prior to our trip. When we got there they didn’t have one available. Beds and pillows uncomfortable. Walls thin and rooms and hallway noisy.
