We had an excellent stay at Otters Green. Wonderful property, excellent host and extremely good value. Jean was amazing. The room was comfortable, cozy and very clean. The little details in the room were a very nice touch. Very pleasant breakfast, 'Continental' but an extensive choice to suit everyone. The garden areas are well kept and available for guests to enjoy. The 3 main rooms all have an outside table and chairs for guests to use. Easy to find using Jean's directions. Private parking. Just a short 5 minute walk took you to a varied choice of pubs and places to eat. Loved it, thank you Jean!

A lovelly guest house in beautiful gardens, just away from the traffic but close enough to local shops/pubs etc. Land lady Jean was great fun and would try and do anything for her guests. Thoroughly recommend guest house.

We had everything in our room we needed more than at our previous stays elsewhere. The continental breakfast in the Granary more than set us up for the morning so much to choose from, all fresh, we sat outside of our room under the covered patio with our rescue Lab of eight weeks, Ralphy. Prior to us leaving we asked Jean to show us the self catering Chalet. Straight away we booked this up for our stay end of March 2022. Many thanks Otters Green but more so Jean for her continuous efforts when making us so welcome! Looking forward to our second stay late March. G,J & Ralphy xxx

I could not believe this place absolutely lovely.Was so impressed going back to stay longer in the Lodge.Very friendly and kind to Luka my little Yorkie.There was so much choice for breakfast spoilt for choice something for everyone.Everything wrapped in plastic bags as per Covid guidelines even the TV Remote Control. Cannot fault anything. Beautiful Gardens with plenty of room for Dog Walking. Lovely Pub The Dolphin in the Village Dog friendly. Fantastic meal. Fully recommend both these establishments. Thankyou for a lovely visit.

I stayed one night in the single room. The room was light, warm and clean. The shower was very good and the kettle had plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed could, be considered on the soft side, but I found it very comfortable and had a good nights sleep. The B&B is some distance back from the main road and quiet. Great central location for the Botley area. This is a very popular B&B, which is no surprise after staying there and I will be using it again. Book early to avoid disappointment.

It was a very comfortable stay,relaxing and well organised. Jean was a very welcoming person and helpful,with a bubbly personality.Good location as a base for surrounding area.

Spent the week in the chalet, Cosy and comfortable Jean was an amazing host went out of her way to make me and my dog feel most welcome, Would highly recommend

This was an overnight stopover before sailing to Isle of Wight. Jean is a lovely friendly lady who just wants to help in any way she can. The rooms are small but clean, maybe in need of a bit of a makeover but satisfactory. The breakfast is held in the old granary, toast, croissants, cereals etc so plenty to keep you going. Would definitely stay again.

Otters green is set in beautiful surroundings. The rooms are well equipped with all that you would need. The beakfast facilities are fantastic. The host Jean is such a lovely and welcoming lady. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay pre-cruising from Southampton.

A very quaint and pretty place to stay. Botley station very near by which will take you to Southampton or to Waterloo station in London.Jean the owner is a lovely lady who is very happy to help you if she can.Jill Mason

Pretty outdoor area. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Only a short walk to local pubs and food outlets. Set back from the road so quite peaceful. The proprietor couldn't have been more friendly or helpful but was not obtrusive.

My wife and I booked the twin bedroom. Initial impression was that the room was cramped. Apart from the beds there was space for two hard chairs, a small table and bedside cabinets. We found the beds to be reasonably comfortable. There was plenty of bedding and hot water bottles were provided. There was a small basic TV on the wall. The sound quality was passable. We couldn’t get the internet working during our stay. The shower room was fine. Very high water pressure and plenty of toiletries. Breakfast was on a self-service basis served in a small wooden annexe. There was a wide variety of options although we found the offerings of limited appeal. The rate was reasonable. This is a worthwhile stopover for somewhere to sleep and have a shower. However if you want to have a few hours to chill out and relax before going to bed it is less than satisfactory.
