The hotel was absolutely lovely, with very friendly front-of-house staff who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable; the food and cocktails were great, and we’d recommend booking a spa treatment. We would highly recommend it as one of the best places to stay in Phnom Penh.

We had a wonderful stay at the Palace Gate. The staff was so welcoming and kind. We were specifically appreciative of the service of Ms. Nob Kakada in the restaurant. She went above and beyond, even asking the restaurant chef for a Cambodian recipe we love.

Everything was good , but the exceptional part was that hotel staff would always come outside when I would get a Tuk Tuk cab to make sure those predatory drivers didn’t try to gouge me on a fare. I was very impressed with the care in which they watch over their guests .

All the staff here like security, front desk, bell men are very helpful, attentive and welcoming. Especially, 2 young housekeeping ladies were very friendly, accommodating, made my room super clean and replenish all the amenities. I really appreciate everyone’s assistance and absolutely enjoyed my stay here.

The Palace Gate staff are second to none. Very friendly and helpful. I always stay in the older part of the hotel as the rooms are very large and airy. The breakfast buffet and a la carte menus do not disappoint! Home away from home.

Staff was great. Security made me feel safe and gave me tips on how to navigate through Cambodia. The massage therapist were wonderful. You will want for nothing if you stay in this hotel. Loved it so much. I stayed here twice for my trip.

Great staff, size of the room, pool and restaurant are great. The spa was good my massage was wonderful . With the spa you can not request a specific person for your massage which I did not like. Also 2 for 1 happy hour you had to buy 2 of the same drink. It would have been better if we could have paid for the higher drink and were allowed to buy 2 different drinks. Hotel was in the center of the city but needed to be aware of pick pockets in the area.

Staff really make this place - they are so friendly and welcoming throughout the property. Highlight is the swimming pool and being able to chill out during what has proven to be a heat wave during our stay. The breakfast buffet while being quite an extensive spread, creates a traffic jam. The room we had was a traditional style with heavy dark furniture and dim lighting making it feel oppressive. Huge room, comfy bed, decent shower.

nice hotel, however my business associate came to visit and they tried to make me sign a document implying she was a prostitute and the hotel does not allow that. i admit she was dressed a bit provocatively...however she is not a prostitute....i did not appreciate that.

Very good central location, easy walk to the main sights and along the riverside. Comfortable, quiet and large room with excellent amenities. Good breakfast and cocktails by pool. Only negative point is that the pool is too cold to swim in after sightseeing as it's surrounded by trees (which are relaxing and pretty), so it doesn't get warmed up by the sun. Overall a great place to stay in the city.

Location of property is good, But unfortunately the room No 301 they alloted me was last and whole day there was noise of construction, and they already informed in room by letter. But door lock was very terrible and cannot easily open without trying 1-2 Min.
