The facility is phenomenal, but some TLC is needed for repairs and outside cleanliness. Overall a great stay. Superb breakfast.

What an amazing B&B. I was in town for business and it was such a treat to get to stay at such an amazing place. Vintage, luxurious, comfortable, delicious food, accommodating, just wonderful. This will be my accommodations from now on when visiting Gonzales.

Beautiful home and grounds. Friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast was fantastic.Bedroom furnishings and wallpapers were tired and worn, as was some of the furniture. Too cluttered also. Dead and live roaches were encountered. Battery in the TV remote was corroded, so we never were able to use the TV and DVD player.

The overall presentation was disappointing based on what we were expecting from the website and reviews. The logistics of the site did not help either. The outside of the building could use a good cleaning which is your first impression. The interior had a musty odor. This could have been a wonderful experience of the past.

We felt like we stepped back in time in this wonderful restored home! Everything was exactly what we expected and wanted. The large pool was awesome. The breakfast was delicious. We felt welcome and valued as a guest. We will be back to experience this home again.

Gorgeous location with beautiful yards and garden areas, clean pool. Stunning historic building is decorated lavishly throughout and deserves its own time to explore and enjoy. Owner was friendly and attentive, and very knowledgeable about the house and the area. I highly recommend it for a special occasion or just to relax by yourself.

Belle Oaks Inn is one of the most enchanting Inns I've ever been to. It takes you back in time and is decorated with such exquisite elegance and detail. The breakfast is home-cooked and always delightful. The host is very gracious and hospitable in every way. You just can't go wrong staying here :)

The property is a beautiful home. Very well cared for. The hosts were very pleasant and willing to provide any information requested and the breakfast was truly a delight as expected.

Out of all the places I have stayed, B&B / Hotels alike, Belle Oaks is by far the best. The house is beautiful and filled with antique and historical artifacts through out. The best part is Clint and Dennis made my girlfriend and I feel so at home and welcome that we didn't want to leave. I totally recommend Belle Oaks to anyone headed towards Gonzales, Texas.

We had a wonderful stay. We got to know the owner, Clinton and chef and caretaker, Dennis plus we met some wonderful guests. The Belle Oaks made you feel like you went back to Victorian time. We had the honeymoon suite for our anniversary. It was fabulous. We plan to go back again.

Oh my goodness this Mansion was fabulous! My husband and I went for our 25th Anniversary. We had such a wonderful time the owners would visit with you and tell you all about the mansion and breakfast or if you want privacy you could be left alone in another dinning room. We chose to hear about the history. Later we enjoyed music from a player Grand piano that played by itself. The breakfast could not have been any better and they were so accommodating when I told them I was gluten free. We had a scrumptious, soufflé, bacon, lemon tarts (gluten free) fresh fruit, etc.... We had the softest bed and pillows, very roomy. We also had snacks and drinks provided. If you forget your robe don't worry they have one for you. The grounds were gorgeous. I can't say enough about this place and we are going back soon.

Belle Oaks Inn was an Amazing overnite stay. So many Awesome antiques all over the house. Breakfast was off the charts and the grounds are amazing. There is so much history in this property. We have already put several photos on Facebook. Gonzales is a great town to spend a couple of days in.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting. Walking distance to the Square and good restaurants. There's a nice pool out back and breakfast is very good. Glad to find this gem! It's an easy drive from Houston, San Antonio, and Austin if you're looking for a break. Great chance to see the birthplace of Texas freedom without the crowds.

What a beautiful place to stay! The house is absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms are very roomy. Sitting out on the porch was so relaxing, and the neighborhood is so quiet. The grounds are gorgeous! Would be nice to visit here when we can use the pool! Breakfast was great, and it was really nice talking with the other guests. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

The place is beautiful and we loved our stay.

Very unique, well maintained house with lots of antiques. Good breakfast. Friendly check in person. Only negative was electrical socket/cord that popped and flashed every hour or two throughout night. Electrician should probably check it out for possible fire hazzard.

Wonderful accommodations. Beautifully restored home with comfortable rooms throughout the first and second floor. Surrounded by large rounds and pool, Belle Oaks was a perfect place to end the day.

The house is beautiful, and the property was breath taking. It was a sweet vacation from home.
