I have never stayed 4 star which didn't have a table and chair (for PC), dressing gowns, hair dryer, coffee machine or jug, Did have useless set4 drawers (Ikea?) and mini safe good only for passports. 19 rooms rather boutique like, carved out of steel reinforced old stone building with a great lift which failed 50% of time (we were on the 3rd floor. On the plus side, big room, bathroom, great Continental breakfast, coffee machine on ground floor, a welcome wine available each day and VERY friendly staff.

Great location and property. Breakfast was lovely. Coffee and tea available 24 hours as well as happy hour daily.

The staff were amazing, helped me set up a 4:30 AM cab ride to the airport and couldn't have been more helpful. I like that it was a small hotel, and the breakfast was English and just perfect to start your morning. Would recommend to those looking to have a very nice stay away from the crowds.

19 Rooms is a great choice in Valletta! Super close to everything but also very quiet. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Great location in old Valletta, great walking in old town, restaurants within 5-10 minutes, inside of building all modern. Good free breakfast, 24 hour coffee and bakery snacks, staff friendly, beds and wifi good. My only complaint is that 103 our room door could not open completely because of electric panel.

Quite, pleasant quaint little hotel. Breakfast was continental type popular abroad, we had no window in our room but the AC was sufficient not to notice. There was a mini bar if needed, fresh water was in the room every day and the room was serviced daily.

Loved this boutique hotel. The gentleman working at the front was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was top quality and the location was unbelievable.

We had a great stay at 19 Rooms! Room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients and good choice! Worth noting it is not a cooked breakfast. This did not bother us at all and we really enjoyed it, but just letting others know! Location wise, the hotel is probably as far as you can get from the bus and ferry terminals but thankfully Valletta is quite small so only a 20min walk max at any point, we liked this as it gave us a chance to see all the city. Only minor problem in the room was a leaky shower that got the floor wet and then the occasional funny smell from drains. Neither of these had a big impact on our stay and I would recommend this hotel for a stay here!

Property is centrally located in Valetta. Rooms spacious and clean. Great continental breakfast served. Staff ever so friendly and gave helpful tips. .

Staff at the hotel were fantastic and really friendly. They had helpful tips for restaurants and provided useful information on things to do. The room I stayed in was large, had good amount of light and was furnished nicely. There was no noise and I slept well.

Quiet location but short walking distance to restaurants and sightseeing. Very nice, helpful staff. Many selections for breakfast.

Lovely room, great location, great service and great breakfast with loads of options. Only thing that would make it better is more daylight in the bedrooms but for a city break this a minor point.

The rooms were a nice design but with no real external windows so they came off dark The view shown in their web site was only available to people staying on the 4th floor and then only if they were in the central courtyard

Really nice place to stay and very convenient for Valletta and the surrounding areas. Really friendly staff and nice breakfast. Plus bonus sweet treats left out in the evening. Room clean and quite large compared with to other hotels in Valletta. Only minor issues is that the room we stayed in was very bright at night as light comes from the centre hallway through the bathroom window and door (both opaque glass panels).

Lovely room. Hotel very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location great. Enjoyed the breakfasts and the constant availability of the dining room coffee/hot water machine and bottled drinking water is a nice touch.

All was good and helped to make our discovery of Valletta and the rest of Malta and Gozo a pleasure.

The hotel is conviniently located close to the bay and the upper Barrakka center, so walking uphill for few minutes was a good excercise. We enjoyed great weather during 21-24 December, . Free continental breakfast was incuded, I was surprised by the richness of the breakfast, varaity of good food, nice hospitality. Room very good too.

We booked this hotel because it was one of the more expensive ones available during our dates and because of the nice views. Don't believe the hype. This hotel doesn't offer views. It's basically a glorified youth hostel. Bathrooms are tiny (literally no room for ANYTHING on the counter), rooms have windows near the ceiling the barely bring in light let alone offer a view, and the front desk isn't even staffed full-time. If you come back at night, you'll be letting yourself in, which is perhaps why the hotel desperately messages you ten times before arrival when you're busy. I also had a billing dispute with the hotel and they promised to resolve it, but then a manager said they wouldn't. This strikes me as highly unethical to promise something and then take it back. They were full of explanations, but no good ones. You literally can't even have the included free breakfast unless you order the night before and tell them what time you'll be downstairs. So much for a vacation. No view, poor condition, nothing nice, no service, and unethical people. I wouldn't stay here again, and my friends were shocked I stayed here the first time.

I have no idea how this place can possibly call itself a 4 star hotel. We paid €185 per night and the bathroom was mouldy, there were ants, there was a sharp part of metal in the shower - the property has seen better days. When I emailed them about the mould, no one from the hotel responded - I just came back to find that they had scrubbed the mould, taking off a layer of plaster. Breakfast is also very average. You have to fill in your form the night before and items are pre-prepared and quite poor quality. I asked if they could leave us out some cereal (no service required) as we were on the 6am ferry but the response was that it was not possible. Neither rooms nor service were great, so I'm not sure what we were paying for. It felt like staying in a very expensive student hostel.

19 rooms is located within easy walking distance of the main dining/shopping/historical center. Front desk staff were very helpful!
