Cleanliness was above and beyond EXCELLENT! The Carriage House was quaint and so very well appointed. Decor was top notch. Beautifully, professionally decorated. Can't wait to go back and stay longer.

Wonderful hosts who were very helpful in suggesting places for dinner and hikes. Delicious home-baked biscotti and fresh brewed coffee in the morning. Delightful old home lovingly restored for comfort.

Great experience and relaxing stay at this beautiful small hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners. It is very refreshing to stay at a small property where you feel the staff genuinely cares about your experience. Lots of nice little touches including delicious biscotti made by the owner. Also every room is unique and they have a very enjoyable patio. Highly recommend trying!

Fabulous location for activities in and around town. The front porch is a must to get the flavor of the area.

English holly. We had the room by the holly tree. the owners, Ron and wife, think of EVERYthing: reading lamps, newspaper in biscotti area. Clean and clean. Cool landscaping. Wait, upon leaving, I noticed they even had umbrellas for guests, just in case

Cute and clean place. Was pretty quiet for the most part. Room was extremely small and I would not have reserved had I know how small it was. Also, no breakfast. Most B&B’s I have started at had some kind of breakfast. Other then that it was nice.

Beautiful property with helpful owners!

I loved this place! The rooms, the grounds-everything is in beautiful condition. I particularly liked the sun room that had coffee, tea, oatmeal, and filtered water for you to use. There’s also a fridge for you put things in along with a microwave and toaster. Ron and Julie were very friendly and welcoming and gave great suggestions on what to do in the area. If I had anything to critique it’s that the window screens are sorta grayed-out (maybe to help control the heat/sun) which is a shame because it’s hard to get a good view. Also, hotels.com says there is “on-site parking” and it’s just street parking. There isn’t a designated lot or spaces that belong to the inn. I would definitely come back here though!

Ron and Julie, the owners, are super people. Very warm and friendly. The property is a historic home with a lot of personality. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable though a smallish queen. The bathroom is large and the water pressure good. They have a back breakfast room with a view of the foliage in the backyard where you can get coffee, fruit, and homemade biscotti. There is a back patio that is very pretty and a front porch area on the street. They have central air set at 72 degrees and, though unusually hot while we were there (93), this proved to be comfortable. The property is at the far end of Broad St. the main drag, away from the 49 traffic. Still, we were in easy walking distance of the heart of the historic downtown. The next time we are in Nevada City, we will stay here again!

Pleasant owners. Cute house in great condition, well maintained and clean. Room was very tiny but bath was spacious. Sunroom was a pleasant surprise. No a/c but nice early and late day, and great to have access to coffee, tea and yummy biscotti. The patio was lovely.

Instant response to problems by working as a team with the guest. Very guest oriented to solve problems when challenged and done politely as with any one else. Great couple working hard, smart to make the stay pleasant to revisit. When we revisit Nevada city this is the place we will stay at.

I absolutely loved staying at Broad Street Inn! It’s located right in the heart of Nevada City. The couple who run it are very sweet! The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The patio in the back is the perfect place to relax. I highly recommend this place!
