We had a very enjoyable stay and they made it a special experience for our kids.

Staff were accommodating, although the local knowledge lacked when we were advised to leave the city centre for our restaurant reservations (it was actually a 10min walk from the hotel). The bathroom was small, and requires some maintenance particularly around the shower seals. The room we were allocated had no option for privacy when setting up for breakfast which was an uncomfortable ‘dance’ between us and the staff. The room itself is well styled, clean, and with aircon. The hotel is well located.

We booked expecting a higher end boutique based on the cost. The hotel does not live up to expectations and is not a good value. I’ll offer the highlights: our room was located next to a public bathroom. Walls are thin if you understand me. There is a public courtyard that looks directly into our room. No privacy. The extra bed for my daughter was an old pull out couch. The mattress was one you would never sleep on at home. One final comical highlight…the door doesn’t lock when closed. The front desk showed us a magic trick to hold the handle and key in a certain way to get the door to lock. I never figured it out….my daughter got the hang of it eventually. Safe to say….not a good value.

Perfectly located in the city. Wonderful, friendly service, from check in to check out. Clean and very comfortable room. We would definitely return!

Charming converted hotel. Great service. Breakfast is served in your suite which is really convenient and adds a touch of luxury to the service. Its a boutique hotel so possesses a charm not found in chain hotels.

The property has absolutely no parking available not even to check in. Public parking is far and hard to reach specially with luggage. The hotel smelled strongly like sewer lines and if there were issues we were not informed in advance so we can book anotjer hotel . We had to sleep with all the windows open, even so the smell was very bad, and its very very noisy at nigh. The floors are very uneven, and the rooms are so small you can barely walk around. If it was listed less stars i would understand but at the price level and stars advertised its completely unacceptable.

Close to all important tourist spots in Bordeaux old town .

Central location & easy access to tram network for getting around everywhere.

Very nice, spacious rooms. We stayed for five nights and it was very comfortable. Conveniently located to everything. The staff was also very nice.

This is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff. The configuration of the suite is well thought out. The bed is very comfortable. The location is great; you can walk so many places and both the A and B tram lines have stops within minutes. We stayed for a week; husband said it would be a great hotel to use as a long term residence. The only drawback was the lighting, as we prefer brighter rooms. We would absolutely stay again.

The service was second to none! The hotel itself was clean and well kept and the location was central to everything walkable, with a tram stop 1-2 minutes away for further attractions.

I feel mixed about posting this review I found this hotel very beautiful, but we did have some questions about it. There were three of us in our party, and we had to pay a supplement for our third person, though it felt as if the towels and the water and minimum amenities only supported or approached the two guests, additionally there’s not a lobby in the hotel. So it is hard to find a place of repose We felt some of the staff worked hard to be accommodating to us as we did have an extra travel day so other seemed a little colder and it is a lovely facility and a beautiful location, but I also felt it wasn’t as welcoming as other places have been on our trip. - not as warm and inviting -

The room was great and the help at the front desk was absolutely excellent. The room was very well appointed—even had a little kitchen—but there was a lot of dust under the bed. I say this in order to alert the hotel and help them improve. But I loved the hotel and would stay there again!

Lovely property, staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would like ideally a little bar or area to sit that’s wasn’t just in your room for the breakfast but plenty of space around the room. Nice toiletries also. Room was lovely but the curtain was slightly unattached at the top so didn’t work as fully blackout. Location is great if you want to walk around this area and it feels safe especially for solo guests.

Great stay at this hotel. Well located in a quiet street but close to centre so perfect for walking and tram. Super friendly staff who suggested some nice restaurants for us. Our room over-looked the small internal courtyard and had limited natural light so we had to put the lights on for breakfast even though weather was sunny outside. We also had no option but to eat our breakfast in our room which didn’t have any views. The same breakfast is served every morning including coffee, pastries, fruit and fresh baguette. Was fresh and to a high standard but would have liked more variety e.g. yoghurt, granola, eggs. Loved the Clarins toiletries and the tasty treats that were left in our room for us to enjoy when we arrived back at the hotel after a day of walking and sightseeing.

We stayed in this hotel on a family trip. We got a really nice room with a little kitchenette and a small fridge, it was really nice. Staff was great and welcoming, they don’t have a restaurant inside the hotel, they serve you breakfast inside of your room which has a table and a nice space to eat or in a little beautiful terrace, which is shared by two rooms. It is a beautiful property really well located right in the middle of everything, you can walk or ride a bike to almost any attraction in Bordeaux.

Excellent suite with everything you could ask for! The only negative was no English speaking TV Chanels.

It is an oasis of calm and beauty. We had an incredible stay and will return for sure. Staff met our every request, no matter how hard, and help us wrangle a literal carload of baggage. Breakfast (in the room!) was divine, too,
