The hotel was not what it appeared to be online. It presented to be more then it was . Was not worth the money we paid for 1 night. Too small

Dog friendly, but not dog smelly, clean. Priced well. Right near the beach. In walking distent to restaurants and Ice Cream. This property had some pretty bad reviews. But we believe they were lies from the old management and issues that they made up. We had a great stay.

It say is was remodeled. Didnt see anything of that sort. Had a huge hole in wall covered by a picture. Alot of fees what i thought covered the dog no that was an additional cost. Staff was nice not

Kids were not allowed in the pool and refused a late check out room was dirty, there was blood on towels and old food left in fridge

Practically on the beach. Huge heated clean pool with a slide. Park was two blocks and we even caught a concert there. Very clean and great outdoor picnic area for grilling

Less than a block away from Shore access. Office personnel was extremely sweet and helpful upon check in. No complaints!

Heated pool provided entertainment for kids. My room was lacking in hot water for showers and hand washing. I let management know for next patron.

I would never stay at this property again...$300 for a very basic room with only one light, lumpy beds, no hair dryer or shampoo or extra chair. Very disappointing.

Good for a motel I suppose, was extremely clean but smelled like bleach. The motel only had hot water one of the three times I showered. The rest of the time it was lukewarm. The bath towels provided were ripped. Location wise it’s ideal but the railing height can’t be up to code and are a safety hazard if you have children. Parking is always available. Ice machine and grills on site.

This is our second time staying at Beach Colony and it was great! Clean rooms, close to the beach, and able to bring our two dogs! That's all we wanted! The owner is very nice and accommodating.

Our stay was exceptional. We had our dog with us, which made it a real family vacation. The room was very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend and will return if and when we can.

The motel is a cute little place close to the beach that is dog friendly. Pool was nice, rooms were clean but could use some updates. Front desk was super helpful and friendly. We had a partial view of ocean from our room. Will definitely stay again.

When arriving at the property, we were changed a cash only pet fee per pet. This was in addition to the pet fee included in the rooms fees. In the middle of our stay it was claimed that our dog caused damage to the already damaged room. We were told that if we didnt hand over cash immediatley then we would be evicted. The property manage leslie had the police come to our room twice, in addition to charged my credit card $625.00 dollars, without my permission, for a comforter and curtains that were already damaged and from the 70s. This was supposed to be a 4 generation trip filled with good memories We ended up leaving early due to the hostile and uncomfortable environment. Please, dont give this motel your money.

It’s a good place to stay if you plan to just use the room to sleep. There’s a $34.10 CASH fee if you have a pet. The room seemed clean but the layout was very awkward. The bathroom was blocked by one of the beds and the room furniture was very outdated. There really isn’t any room for comfort just beds, no chairs or table to eat on. I did go with their least expensive room. It had 3 beds (I only needed 1), but if you plan on spending anytime in your room I suggest you go with a bigger room. I paid over $200.00 which to me isn’t such a great value, but it was a last minute decision.

I never stayed here. My reservation was cancelled by the hotel staff online. When I tried calling to secure a new reservation I was told to call back once I had my card number ready. When I tried calling back no one ever answered and I called multiple times. I will now have to dispute with my bank because it seems whoever I spoke on the phone with charged me for a new reservation I was never able to confirm and book. I will not be considering this place in the future just due to poor customer service.

Spent 4 nights room was never cleaned while there never found parking when we came back at night although they say each room is guaranteed a parking space Very outdated room Bathroom very small

Unfortunately we had a family above us stomping on the floors. hotel was behind another hotel and was not on the beach like stated. There is quite a walk to get to the water. The Wi-Fi didn’t work the whole time we were there. Breakfast was fairly close to us.

It’s so pet friendly!! And so clean! Loved the tile floors to insure the cleanliness!! It is a little gem tucked in all the new high rise condos ! Cats, birds, dogs of all sizes all welcome!! Next time I’m bringing my dog.

The hotel itself was clean ne nice, however i pid 414$ for 1 night, it was not. 400$+ worthy hotel..

Leslie at the front office was super nice. The only problem is that there were no utensils but pots and pans. We brought our iwn stuff but there were no cups, plates or utensils utensils. Also soap but no shampoo. Didn’t affect me because I always travel with my own but every hotel should provide.

Great stay on the beach. Large room, dated but very clear.

This is a charming mid-century motel, well run, clean and one block from the beach. It is absolutely spotless and the bathroom was recently renovated with a nice big sink. Everything was in great condition, the TV was modern and the pool has a neat new slide.We checked in during COVID and everything was well-sanitized and spotless. Everyone wore masks - even next to the pool - and we felt really safe. The pool and grills are also very clean and the pool is heated. There aren’t that many restaurants open - possibly due to COVID - but we found a cute Mexican place walking distance less than a mile away. Bike rentals and the park are very close by. We were super happy with our stay. Oh, and they allow pets, too, and our room had lovely new tile floors!!

There was holes in the walls. One of the rooms did not have an AC and it was too hot. They refused to change my sheets during my stay.

For less the price I paid at this motel, I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels. It’s ridiculous & very disappointing
