We don’t usually go to a complex but we were very impressed with the design, layout and atmosphere of the whole place. The most important thing for us is quiet so we were anxious about this however, despite the complex being fully booked, all residents seemed to adopt a subtle approach to all activities, including the pool area. There were families but overall, the children were so well behaved and respectful of others.
Our suite was large and the view of the sea was soothing. Beds very comfortable, air con immensely necessary and effective and the cleaning service top drawer. Our only thoughts were that there weren’t a lot of kitchen appliances, utensils and crockery, but if you don’t like cooking, no problem. Also, the sofa and chairs were very uncomfortable, although I note that some properties had more modern furniture. That being said, these thoughts do not warrant any reduction in our 5 * rating! It was our first visit to Portugal and we will definitely be back, in a villa next time but they looked booked up for the foreseeable future!

The bungalow we stayed in was excellent in all aspects. The view from the patio was superb looking out over the sea.

We just returned from a 7 night stay at Alga Seco Parque and was really impressed. We stayed in one of the two bedroom bungalows. The sea views were amazing and there was plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked. All the staff especially Bruno were very friendly and attentive. The Bistro served lovely food and the staff were very friendly also. The kids loved the pool. There was also a smaller heated pool, which was great. The Boardwalk was great for sunset walks to the town which was about ten minutes walk. We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back.

A really nice location, friendly staff and good food. The only reason it wasn’t excellent was non residents kept reserving tables at bar- bistro & kids had their own pool but were always using the main pool.

We HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!! Large, clean rooms with an amazing view. We were VERY impressed with the customer service..especially the front desk and restaurant personnel. The food and sangria were tasty, with great prices and large portion sizes. Take advantage of the opportunities to explore the surrounding areas, follow the trails and seeing all the natural beauty within a few minutes of hiking.

Wonderful hotel for a Christmas week getaway with family. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming from pre-arrival to departure. We had a two bedroom bungalow with all comforts and charm. We all enjoyed our Christmas stay with the cozy fireplace and used the heated pool as well which was a real bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped which was great for a stay during Covid restrictions. The terrace is huge and the location is just perfect. We will return again for the views and comfort.

The property and local staff are excellent and very helpful. I would recommend staying here without hesitation. However, booking through Expedia has been a significant problem. The check-in process was difficult, requiring me to dial Expedia in the USA on my cell phone that was a collect call, but eat up international calling minutes on my cell phone plan. It finally got resolved but at time and expense to me. The local property management has still been unable to resolve an issue of changes to the booking after the stay has ended. I will not book through Expedia again when going to Europe. I am very dissatisfied with my experience with Expedia and their ability to resolve issues and communicate with local European property management to resolve client changes to bookings.

We stayed during Xmas and it was rather quiet (particularly 24,25&26th) but it was a lovely bungalow with gorgeous sea view.We enjoyed the heated pool day time and the fire place in the living room night time. We had a great holiday.

Fantastic location, overlooking boardwalk and nearby cliff-top walk, very close to Carvoeiro centre with it’s shops , bars, restaurants. Really helpful staff, great accommodation, wonderful log burner as well as air on for heating ( this was a Dec/Jan stay). Will definitely return
