Cheap for a reason.

Disappointed, couldn’t reach plugs one begins bed which we had to pull bed out and headboard was broken,other behind cupboard had to pull that out to get to , no where to do hair had to reach my hair straighteners round to bathroom as no mirror in bedroom. Carpet needed cleaning, ceiling in bathroom covered in mould. All in all wouldn’t stay again

Spotlessly clean, recently decorated to high standard. Adjacent Admirals hotel and pub really nice and staff very helpful. Really recommend

The room appeared clean but there was a dreadful smell for the entirety of our stay. When we arrived the windows were already open, which makes me suspect that the smell was noticed by cleaning staff. Unfortunately, we did not have time to ask for a room change as we left to attend an event shortly after arriving. In addition, both mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and probably need replacing. There was also what appeared to be a dead cockroach found in the bed the next morning. Sadly, this was far from being an adequate stay even at the low price paid.

For the price you pay, you get a comfortable bed and private bathroom so good value for a quick one night stay. Unfortunately the room smelt like an ash tray after walking in the for first time so got a bit getting used to!

The room was as advertised and good for a low cost place.Lovely shower

A bit run down inside,obviously someone was smoking heavily inside there room,but value for money, shower was good has a kettle fridge some clean plates and cutlery .

A handy cheap place for a quick stop. Not well marked and you have to go the pub on the other side to check in. Had very noisy guests next door and could barely sleep. Beds are very basic. Else it is functional enough.

This was a comfortable, excellent value stay, in a quiet residential area, with many unexpected extras, and plenty of privacy. I would definitely stay here again.

Just okbetter than the last visit. This room was ok, I liked having the fridge and microwave. Would have been nice to have a chair rather than a stool but the stool was better than nothing. :)

It was a last minute booking, and after staying at the guest house, thought I'd try them again. Pleased they could fit me in, but in the pub rather than guest house. Fitted my needs perfectly.
