The room was clean & tidy but quite basic. Hotel was well located just a 10 minute walk from main tourist spots. Hotel was very reasonably priced and check-in staff were helpful. Breakfast is offered (although I didn’t order it). Perfect stay if you want a cheap and cheerful hotel that is well located

Have only given a 4 rating because there was no tea or hot drink making facility in the room. Also it wasn’t clear how to check in as the hotel was on 2 sides of the road.

The hotel is in a nice location and the room size was very good, but certain things are looking old and need updating especially in bathroom. However my main concern with the hotel was that there was no electricity to entrance area the whole time we were there. They said a thunderstorm had caused this, but 6 days after it was still not fixed and no one was working to fix it. It a shame as the staff were nice and the hotel could be really good.

The staff were excellent and very helpful and probably made our stay better. It is in a good location for accessing most things. We only wish there was AC as it was really hot despite the staff best efforts. Rooms were a little dated and small but clean.

The hotel is in the back of the old town, but u can walk 5mins to the old town where the places to see in salzburg. The rooms are big with balcony but they don't have. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion which I forgot to bring due to the size when u don't check on luggage.

Closest and cheapest we could find yet was severely lacking. Right on a busy street which is so loud at night, yet there is no air conditioning so you have to have your windows open to have any air flow. The rooms look like a motel 6. Would recommend just paying more for a hotel that actually has ac and better rooms.

Great room with the large terrace. Friendly receptionist. Very close to the old city. Parking is bit troublesome, but manageable.

The room was basic for what I paid. The shower was very small. I liked that it was close to the downtown area and easily walkable.

The room was absolutely disgusting, the carpet was heavily stained all over with only god knows what. The furniture was falling apart, when I opened the door of the wardrobe it fell off in my had and I narrowly avoided injury. The safe didnt work, the toilet was continually running the whole experience was depressing I can't believe Hotels.com would even consider promoting such a poor establishment. The only saving grace was it's location and friendly staff. Please avoid this place salzburg has so many better hotels to offer.

We liked the closeness to downtown.
We did NOT like the stained carpets, dirty walls of our room, dusty sink, semi-plugged shower drain, broken/taped mirror door of our closet, and overall dirty appearance of the older section of Neutor Hotel in Salzburg.

Room is clean. Old bed, it hurts my back, one pillow each person. Needed to add pillows.No room control for temp. We ask if we could adjust the radiator , we were told not to touch it. The next hotel we went , we were given info on adjusting radiator. Although thru the night I did not get cold. The bathtub was helpful for my husband. Kudos for the bathtub.

Bus from train station stops right outside the hotel but is was an easy walk to the main sights both in the old town and across the river. Spacious room, good shower, heating which could be adjusted. The only thing which would have made it better for us would be a kettle/cups in the room to make a hot drink!

Staff was nice. Rooms are dated with very little amenities. No coffee service and no refrigerator. Location is great. Good for low budget facility

I can have no major faults with this hotel. It's actually two buildings, with one across the road from the other.
The plus is the hotel is right in the bus route to the main train station and the bus goes through the old town.

There is no tea and Coffee facilities. Water pressure in bathroom was not good.
Carpet should be renewed.

When we arrived it was not possible to check in even though it was after checkin time.
We were given a room in another building which was not clean and smelled bad. The building itself was in a state of disrepair.
After complaining we got a room in the main building which as just OK. It was not, no AC, and there were two fans neither of which worked.
I've stayed here before but cannot imaging coming back again.

Ok hotel for 1 or a few nights. Very close to Salzburg city center (walking distance). No aircon- a problem when 30’ outsider. We had a large room with a nice terrace but interior could need some renewal.
All in all value for money.

Location is convenient to the center , the hotel rooms are small and older but good maintained.
The cleaning staff was annoying , knocking hourly to push you for leaving.

Location is far from train station but line 1 bus takes you right outside. Great location to the city centre. Everything is walkable! Room is a bit dated but beds are super comfortable. They also provide you with a fan because there is no AC. Also liked the full window. Would stay again !

Very nice Hotel, they have 2 houses one next to another, the one I stayed is where the reception and breakfast room are, easy check in, very friendly staff, nice rooms, about 1 minute walk to the old town area, good shower and nice bed They have some blinds that you can pull down and the room gets very dark

Horrific, dirty, stains everywhere, smells horrible, plug sockets hanging off the wall and cables hanging on by the last wire.
We complained and then got an ‘upgrade’ which was only a nicer room but still have the same problems as the last room.

Very helpful reception staff. Anna immediately arranged for me to move room: there was a terrible smell in it and at - 6 C opening the window at 8 pm for an hour was not an option.
It’s location is the best feature. Just walk through the tunnel and you are in the centre of the town.

Hotel was ok I didn’t see much staff only on arrival and departure it was clean tidy and quiet Over all a pleasant stay
