There was a very homey feeling. The people who run the place are helpful and accommodating. It was quiet and peaceful, had no problem sleeping. The property was clean and well kept. Only thing to mention is flat pillows - bring your own, but that was my only issue and that's an easy fix.

The cottage was spacious and clean. What disappointed me was when we arrived the AC was running but it was still warm inside. I quickly realized the heat was on. The stove is way outdated and knobs for the burners were missing. The freezer worked great! Fridge barely worked at all. Like i said at the beginning it was clean and spacious but we wont be staying again

Glorified trailer park, no privacy whatsoever, it was supposed to have private patio and/or a garden, there was none if that, and cottages are way too close to each other. We brought grilling supplies, but grill was broken, new one was promised to be installed the next day, but it was not. Was hot inside the cabin, old A/C was noisy, but did not reach to the bedrooms. But if you are looking for an inexpensive option for a large group - this will work. We will stay elsewhere next time.

My grandson had a great time in the pool which was very clean. The campground itself is also very clean and tidy. The cottage was roomy enough for all four if us and the dog. We would stay here again

Teds was close enough to anything but far enough to be away from craziness. A good value for families wanting to see the sights around the Port Clinton Cedar Point area. Pool was clean and the byob tiki bar was fun. We would go back. Nothing too fancy but still a fun place to stay.

When we got there, the cottage was flooded. They said that they would take care of it. We left to look around the town and while we were gone, I got a text that they would have the cleaning crew see what they could do the next morning. When we got back, the office was closed (5:30), so we left the key and a note and left to go home. Three hours away. It was a disaster.

We loved everything about Little Ted's Cottages! Amazing location, nice pool, fire pits and amenities, and the kindest, sweetest staff over any place I've ever stayed. The cottage was roomy, updated and comfortable, everything we needed was there. It was very safe and security was on site. He made us feel welcome and was so kind and friendly! The cottage and grounds were very clean. We will definitely stay here every time we visit the Lake Erie area. Little Ted's more than exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend! It was a great place to relax!

There was no one there to assist with check-in when I arrived even though I got there around 5 p.m. Plus I had no where to park, the adjoining cabin guests were using my spot but I had not one to go to about it. The cottage had cobwebs throughout and I found debris under the bed and couch. One of the beds' sheets were not cleaned at all they had white powder all over. Plus the stove top burners did not work properly. It certainly was not worth what they are charging and then they charged extra for my dog, even though, I had indicated I had a dog on the expedia site.

Liked the location, easy to get anywhere you wanted to go without a lot of traffic issues. Perfect for one of our quick get a ways. Friendly folks

Loved the fire rings my husband made a fire both nights we stayed. It was very relaxing watching the fire and listening to crickets and looking at the stars

I liked that it was pet friendly and the location was great for me. Very close to the ferry to get over to put in bay, and the Marblehead lighthouse was only 15 minutes away, there was also a very fishing pier about 3 minutes away that had a tiny beach also. There was no Do Not Disturb sign in the room and no instructions in the papers about housekeeping. The bathroom smelled like urine, even after housekeeping had been there, the cottage was very dusty I’m talking a thick layer of caked on dust, several light bulbs did not work or were missing, the pans provided in the kitchen were so scratched up bacon was sticking to them making it almost impossible to cook there and clean the pans after. There was not enough parking at the cottage, the pool was okay, their fishing area consisted of the boat dock so in my opinion it was nonexistent, the office was supposed to be open until 9pm but was closed at 830pm. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Definitely more of a cabin for fishing or camping type. It was nice but older and not as clean as I would like. Had a faint cigarette smell like the people staying there before smoked or they smoked with the door open. We are very sensitive to smoke smell due to asthma it bothers us.

It was a nice place to stay. Smaller than what the pictures seem but still good.

The cottage is nice and roomy. Parking does not make sense. If one person is parked at the cottage you have no place to park. I dont know who the worker is riding around on the golf cart giving several guests orders but he is a real jerk. I didnt pay all that money to have a jerk tell me not to do things that I wasnt planning on doing. I heard him mouthing off to a few other people the days I was there.

We just went for a couple of nights, it was the most comfortable I have felt staying somewhere other than home. The beds were pretty comfy, especially the comforters. They had everything you would need such as refrigerator, stove, cooking supplies. We were very impressed. We can’t wait to go back!

No one is on property to manage after 9:00 Boats take up all parking

Everything was great. We didnt gwt a remodled room as the reservation stated but we were OK with that. Plan to stay again.

Just as pictured when booking on expedia. We arrived to find out the office was closed but our key was left for us. Lots of spiders which is expected when you stay anywhere near water. All appliances and AC worked great. Clean sheets and towels. Would stay here again

The cottage hadn’t been updated or refurbished for decades. Our stove didn’t work. The sheets were dirty. However, the pool was great. The bbqs everywhere were nice. The people running the place were kind and helpful.

The mattresses could use updating to memory foam and the cottage we ended up in had all twin/ twin bunks. My husband and I had to sleep separately. I am sure if I had said something it could have been changed but overall staying at the cottages afforded us a great working vacation where we didn’t need to spend a lot eating at restaurants. It was great to have more than a hotel room with the two kids. It gave us more space to relax after a day of togetherness.

We rented two cottages - one modern and one "vintage". Both were very comfortable, although we were surprised to see only a space heater in the "vintage" cottage, however it worked well and kept the place cozy. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here again.
