City break but with beaches , a really interesting place. The flat was spacious and comfortable . The view over the port is stunning . Easy walk into town, restaurants and buses out to the beaches or further afield. The staff ( Sara and Olga) were friendly and kept asking if we needed anything . What really sets this place apart from other flats in the area is the garden and the swimming pool. Ideal for a refreshing dip after site seeing and relaxing.

We chose Captain Emo for its proximity to the train and ferry terminals and Old Town. Which worked although it is up a hill and map programs didn’t know road construction axed the preferred route and didn’t lnowabout the longer route around the coliseum with a ramp rather than stairs. Great communication with owner and staff, very good kitchen, sunset view of the harbor, and reasonable cafes nearby. My wife and I walked everywhere, the only gotcha being the closest full-sized (for Croatia) market was a bit of a hike.

Although the property looks very good trying to get hold of someone was hard also on the last day had to be out by 10am with no chance of having a later checkout which would have helped luckily we had a car for the day so went out but got back to wait for our taxi so would recommend to the people who run the property would be great to have a toilet available otherwise thank you for the stay

For us the location was great, the Colloseum was within 100m of the apartment. We had a car, so parking was a little difficult to find on the streets.

Captain Emo apartments are in a great location and Neven and Sara were very helpful. The upstairs apartment was really comfortable and quiet although the downstairs room was a bit noisy at night. The facilities are of a good standard and there is a pleasant garden to sit.

This is an awesome hotel- great location, beautiful garden/pool area. Rooms are clean and extremely well equipped. Price can’t be beat.

Very close to the main attraction in Pula, the colosseum is at the end of the block. Close to wonderful restaurants. Free parking. Amazingly friendly and helpful hosts.

Apartment was fine but there was no toaster or microwave. Very convenient for the centre of town , the amphitheatre and the sea front. The.only downside is that its quite a steep climb to the apartment - but its fine if you.take your time. A lovely.week.

Great city centre location with all amenities including a small swimming pool in the lovely rear facing garden. Nina and Sara, manager and owner were really helpfull and gave me advice on places to visit, eat and drink. Thanks for a great stay.

The apartment was airy, spacious and comfortable with aircon which was much needed! There is even a small pool in the garden. Nina and Sara were extremely welcoming; Nina organised a great boat trip and recommended some lovely restaurants. She was quick to respond to any requests we had. The location is very convenient and is walking distance to all the main sights. We had lovely week there.

The pool, albeit small, was lovely for a morning dip and was also lit up in the evening if you fancy a swim later on. Well appointed room - we had room 1 (Double Room). This is a gem of a property if you’re looking to stay in Pula. Ideally located next to the Arena, we used this as a base to explore Istria. Car parking was free and readily available on the road. The property itself was absolutely perfect. The owner and the property staff were attentive without being at all invasive. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we could have needed... including a swimming pool which was a complete surprise but wonderful. The finish in the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen area were to a high specification. It was really smart, and with plenty of finishing touches to make it a great base for our city break! We were lucky enough to arrive for the Pula Film Festival and secured tickets for one of the big shows. The owner arranged for us to have extra blankets for seating inside the colosseum to make the evening perfect. They offered friendly advice on local knowledge of restaurants and venues we’d read about on the internet, and took a genuine interest in our holiday plans. Couldn’t fault this property. It worked so perfectly for us. Local fruit stall, bakery and mini supermarket a short walk away and we walked into town each evening for dinner and to explore. Would most definitely recommend and we shall return when in Pula.

It’s a beautiful older building and the apartment was clean and nicely furnished. With brand new furnishings. Location was great. Right by the ampitheater.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great and everyone I met went out of their way to help or offer advice on what to do and where to go as well as looking up which buses I would need to take. Cannot recommend it enough. Great outside terrace seating area as well.

On the face of it lovely place. Staff very helpful and polite. Unfortunately my wife suffered a fall on the stairs on the 2nd day and fractured her left arm; spent 2nd night in local A&E and returned home earlier than planned. Awaiting a reply form Expedia regards the fall etc.

We stayed 5 nights in August at Captain Emo Apartments. Everything was perfect!Very friendly welcome from Sandra who offered advice on events on in Pula at the time we stayed. And was able to answer any questions on the area/excursions/booking taxis etc.We stayed in apartment 5 on the top floor. The apartment itself was huge! Very well appointed kitchen/lounge with everything you'd need for self catering if you wish. Great views out to sea from the kitchen/lounge area, huge comfy bed, big bathroom with a great shower, great air con and wi fi. The apartment was also perfectly quiet, even though it's very central... very beautifully decorated and SPOTLESSLY clean! There is also a shared outside terrace/garden area at the back of the property which is very peaceful and pleasant to sit and have a glass of wine in before you go out for the evening.Literally 2 mins walk down to Pula Arena. There are a couple of cafe/bars at the end of the street, one of which overlooks the Arena. Everything is in walking distance.You can also arrange taxi transfers from the airport direct with them at a very reasonable rate.We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Such a lovely stay!
