This is an absolutely unique and beautiful property. We had a suite with a beautiful terrace attached. And enjoyed a coffee while looking out on the peaceful surroundings with beautiful buildings. Florence was very hospitable and gave an amazing breakfast- eggs, apricot tart, fresh bread and jams! Covid safeguards were in place. Can’t wait to visit again.

We spend two nights an Villa Élyane and enjoyed it a lot there. Great service, great breakfast. Absolutely clean and calm. Thank you very moch for making our stay very special.

A superb property, in a stunning location, beautiful rooms, house and delicious breakfast! Close to downtown. What a pleasure to have stayed here! A 5 star property.

We went to see the Christmas markets and this was the best stay of our trip. Everything about this property was excellent. Classic classic classic!

Beautifully presented with rooms updated but with old features in keeping with the house. The owner was charming and helpful. The property is ideally located a 10 minute walk across the park from the old town so benefits from being close enough but also retains peace and quiet in the evenings. No hesitation in recommending

Beautifully renovated with all amenities required for a really comfortable stay. No pool or spa but was not looking for these services at this property

This is a beautiful home in a lovely grand neighborhood of Colmar. Florence is a welcoming host and made our stay outstanding. Our room was fabulous, the breakfast delicious. We would love to stay again someday!

What a lovely property.The building was an absolute gem with a Gilded Age mansion feel. The items that add the most character like the interior woodwork appear original and are in great condition. The updated amenities, like electrical and plumbing, have been tastefully upgraded to modern standards. Our room on the second floor was truly beautiful. The bathroom was extremely nice, which in a nearly 100 year old building is impressive. Our room was spacious. If memory serves me correct, there are 5 rooms (3 upstairs and 2 on the main floor). I wish I could have seen them all, as I am sure they would have all have their own unique characteristics.The location was excellent for our purposes. I enjoy walking, so I liked the 10-15 minute walk to the the town centre where all the restaurants are. Restaurants and stores are not close, which could be a drawback to some. I liked staying in a more residential neighbourhood.The service was impeccable. Our room was always spotless. The breakfasts were satisfying. Each morning there was something new for us to try: eggs done different ways and always great bread and pastries. Florence, our host, was friendly from the moment we arrived and every morning she greeted us with cheer. She offered helpful advice on the area and ideas of where to explore. She was obviously proud of her Villa Élyane.Overall, this was one of the nicer properties I have ever stayed in. I hope to get the opportunity to return and stay again.

Florence our host was welcoming and most helpful. She had great knowledge of the local area. Her home was beautiful with good facilities. The location of her property was so convenient we were able to walk into the village and enjoy the charming sites of Colmar.

Very comfortable, welcoming guest house. Beautiful room with good facilities. Off street parking. Short walk to old town which is very pretty. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay at a beautiful chateau. The location was perfect -- extremely convenient to the Colmar train station and just a short ~10 min walk to the old city. The chateau is beautiful inside and out, it was renovated in 2012 and they did an amazing job! The rooms were modern and comfortable, Air Conditioning worked very well, and the shower was very nice. The proprietor Florence was so nice and accommodating, and the breakfast provided was perfect. Delicious pastries, home-made tarts, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruit juices, fresh local jams/jellies, etc. Would highly recommend staying at Villa Elyane!
