We had a very warm welcome from Fiona on reception. She was so helpful throughout our stay.
My husband had a problem with his ankle so the walk into town bit of a struggle for him. We hadn’t realised it was about a 30 minute walk into town.
Fiona was an absolute gem and even dropped us to the station for our train journey.
We were in room 15 and it was an odd shape so didn’t have much room to move around once you got your luggage inside.
Kitchen facility was good but no where to eat your food inside. It did have a writing desk but very awkward due to room configuration.
Bed was comfortable.
Overall a good stay but would choose a different room.

Very nice building, lovely foyer with pool table. Rooms were immaculate, lovely bbq area, excellent staff. Good value.Highly recommend

The accommodation was renovated its cleanliness. and but was not a hotel. it’s a motel. the room is not a valuable with the price. The bed seems to be not clean. and the curtain is not darker that can’t sleep well and cold the room even though turned heater on.

First time to stay here, service was great, room warm and comfortable, no issues, shame about the weather but it is winter, I will be back

Great place to stay for all that Kaikōura has to offer. Good accommodation. Close to Supermarket. Very pleasant staff. Reasonable price. Would definitely stay next time.

A very clean and comfortable property.
My only suggestions are,
1. The small wall fixed heater is very loud and woke my wife nearly everytime it came on at night.
2. I feel it is unusual not to have any other options for tv, other than the free to air options. No Sky TV, No Netflix, No anything.

Reception was excellent and early check in was allowed upon our arrival. There was a lovely little little courtyard where our group gathered four sundowners and snacks prior to going out for dinner. While the view wasn't great, you could hear the ocean, which was nice.

This motel is at the quiet end of town and most of the units are at the back so there is very little road noise.

Lovely hotel! Suite was cozy and quite comfortable, with everything I needed. The lady who manages the establishment went out of her way to help me. I recommend Kaikoura Quality Suites wholeheartedly!

I booked the room at short notice, and was pleased with the room, it was a good size and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable.

The Kaikoura Quality Suites were good to stay in with a great burger place, Black Rabbit and an 50/60s themed finer just down the road and they were both excellent. A great place to stay overall

This property had the king bed in the living room & 3 single beds in the bed. This was uncomfortable when watching tv on the bed. Our room wasn't serviced. On our return back to the room, we were told that it would done immediately. We decided to go for beach walk. On our return the room still wasn't serviced. The manager thought we were in the room next door. Not very acceptable.

Liked the grass courtyard only thing didn't like was the truck warming up for forty minutes ai 6am outside the premises

The room was modern and large with everything we needed for two nights apart from air conditioning. There were fans but unfortunately didn't cut it on the extreme hot days we were there. We had a balcony at the frontdoor and back door which overlooked the beautiful garden. The bed was a little soft but super big. It is located close to a supermarket and a few cafes.

The room was lovely. Clean, well equipped and bed comfy. The only drawback was that it was so far away from the centre and the only view was that of the bbq!
