Let's start with what I like. Location is perfect if you like local shops and the Island. The pool and exercise room was much needed and appreciated all at a great price. Also the sky deck was great.
What I didn't like. I was on the Fifth floor and all I heard all light long was the megaphone from Cal Ripkin baseball and the music blasting. The breakfast was nice but the pancake machine was hot or miss if it was working correctly that day. No coffee maker in the room and no daily newspaper I could find. The breakfast has no real non dairy or vegan options unless you want bread with jelly or maybe a banana.
Overall a 3/5 and could very easily be a 5 with very little details . Add vegan options, add non dairy creamer to the coffee/tea bar and maybe Cal Ripkin museum could tone done the noise?
I would come back just for the location alone

Great location, a little off the main road so it’s quieter. Lots to do, great facilities and space to sit and relax as a group or couple.
Roof space was lovely but no bar so we needed up on the ground floor.
Free parking so plenty of opportunities to get out and see the local area

We arrived kind of late. The receptionist was very nice. She got us checked in quickly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast bar was well stocked every morning. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff was helpful and professional. The room and hotel in all was very clean. I am not one to be a “Karen” about things but I am honest and real with my opinions. The main purpose for a hotel is to sleep so a comfortable bed in my opinion is a comfortable sleep. The beds were the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on without a doubt. My wife and I physically woke up the entire night and physically hurt from the sleep. We are also prefer a cold room so we set our thermostat on 65 (the lowest it will go) and the room definitely did not feel 65. The Hotel also has beverages and snacks, they are priced very high which is almost expected but I’m saying so as a warning. Saying all of this, I’m not bashing the place or saying don’t stay this was based on my personal preference and experience.

Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and beds were comfortable. Location is great. Rooms are a bit cramped and there’s no dresser- so nowhere to put your clothes. Shower floor was extremely slippery so be careful. Breakfast was good, average hotel breakfast. Outdoor pool is actually at the Home2Suites next door and is shared with Tru. I’d stay here again.

Room was very clean, only thing missing was drawers. My family loved the body wash, shampoo and condition so much that I had to buy some. Pool was great, breakfast was good. Friendly staff. Loved the sky deck. Walked to the island with ease. Only left a star off for comfort because of the very uncomfortable pillows and the trash truck right outside our window at 5am. Otherwise, wonderful place to stay and will probably come back, with our own pillows.

The lobby personnel were nice. As far as the room the floors were so dirty my child’s feet were black!!! Our white towels were all stained. The beds are so uncomfortable. The white comforter was stained on the bed.

Walking distance to the island and the parkway. Good outdoor seating areas on the roof and the lower level. Breakfast was just ok but it was included.

This particular location just wasn’t for us. Families with spots kiddos yes!! Early we heard 7:30 music from the ball fields and announcements thru the speaker system. So no sleeping in. Also was not impressed with the breakfast selection husband liked the omelets. But the protein was sliced smoked sausage not bacon or regular sausage hot cereal was grits. Other Tru hotels had better selections for breakfast. Takes so long to make your own waffles and to use the automated pancake machine. I had cold cereal and milk. OJ. Don’t southern places have gravy and biscuits?

This is our 3rd year back to Tennessee for some R&R with the family. We love this hotel. It is always clean and smells so good when you walk in. No place I would rather stay! We have came in the Spring and Fall and this time it was July hot summer time. Always a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

I really did enjoy the modern colorful look. My only disappointed was there are NO DRESSERS or closests It was awkward living out of your suitcase. There were knobs on the wall for jacket/coats. I don't want to look at others personal lined on a shelf. With that being said I'll be looking for hotels with dressers and closets.

The room was too small for the price. Also there was no where to hang your cloths in the bathroom. The shower leaked.

A quick weekend trip to Gatlinburg! This was the perfect location in Pigeon Forge without the congestion of Gatlinburg. We will definitely stay here again.

Good hotel to stay at. Nice view of the mountains and Pigeon Forge. The baseball fields behind the property are loud with music blaring over their speakers. Ask for a room facing away from this.

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast had a variety of options including pancakes, waffles, and bagels but eggs were not great. The service was lacking. Sat af the rooftop deck and didn't realize they were closing until employee interrupted our conversation and told us to leave without excusing himself for interruption.Basically jusy said get out, we're closed.

The room had a modern look with open spaces, and along with having no carpet made the room feel larger and cleaner. Having only one chair needs to change to two chairs to accommodate couples. Bathroom was spacious and well stocked and had a very modern flair. I would recommend they update the bathroom to include an exhaust fan - room was humid during and after showers (which may explain why some of the wallpaper was slightly peeling). The breakfast offered plenty of choices. The staff was very helpful with directions and assistance on getting around town. I would recommend staying there when visiting Pigeon Forge.

We travel to Pigeon Forge often. This was our first time staying at Tru by Hilton. Great experience! Check-in was efficient. Facilities were clean and bright. The room was large with plenty of space. The bathroom was also large and clean. Lots of children because of the indoor pool and shared outdoor pool. The foosball table also attracted teenagers. We didn’t try the breakfast; there were so many people enjoying the breakfast we decided to eat elsewhere. Lastly, we loved the fact the facility was away from the main road; much easier for travel.

my favorite part about our room was the extra "room" that made my 14 year old son very happy. He had his own space with his own tv and loved it. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, we love how close it is to the attractions we wanted to visit. We would stay here again! The price was excellent and we had a blast.

This hotel was very clean from the time you enter the building. The outside was also clean. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The hotel offered family friendly amenities, breakfast, lots of seating area. The room was very clean. We had an awesome view, located minutes away from The Island and Downtown Flavortown. Overall good clean place to stay during your visit!

This was a pleasure trip to see the sights of Pigeon Forge. We stayed 3 nights. The hotel was clean, the employees were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and acceptable. We liked the rooftop garden area. Our one issue was a little odor coming from our AC unit, just a little musty. Overall, it was a good stay.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and surrounding grounds were clean. Rooms were clean but queen size beds were undersized as well as lumpy, flat pillows. Continental breakfast was sadly disappointing. Best thing about this hotel is the location. Close to everything whether walking or driving.
