We loved the kangaroos who visited at dusk & dawn, as well as the resident kookaburra and tiny birds. The bush views from the back windows were soothing and private.
The villa was spacious & well furnished, but being warmed by the open fire was just lovely.

Unique private villa experience right outside the entrance to Grampians. Great place to relax after a day of hiking and exploring in a garden-like environment with wildlife around you.

A wonderful spot near walks with native flora and fauna in your own yard space. You could choose to stay in and enjoy home cooked meal in front of the fire or venture out to explore the many walks on offer. We will be coming back again. A great spot to refresh.

This property has to be one of the best in the area. Extremely clean and well presented. The bonus of fresh bread and milk etc was appreciated too. Perfectly positioned for everything in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back that’s for sure. Thanks for a great stay.

This was my second stay at Marwood. Although, I love the location and the quiet privacy, I found that these units have not been updated in years, and maintenance is needed. Noisy refridgerator, missing and dirty spa jets and webs all over the outdoor furniture made our stay less than perfect.

An amazing villa with everything you could wish for including kangaroos grazing outside your door.

I loved it here. The hosts are fantastic to deal with. The cottages have everything you need and private. Woke to widlife at the front door.

Our stay was an amazing experience with the Emus and the Kangaroos in the vicinity. The villa was cozy and private away from the hustle and bustle. We celebrated our first wedding Anniversary there and it was a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommend.

The villa was tranquil and we had kangaroos, ducks and birds around us both days. The walk along the track at the back into Halls Gap was beautiful. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

This was a good spot. Check in was by phone and very simple. It was very quiet and lots of opportunities to check out the local fauna - kangaroos, deer, parrots, etc. AC was great. Decoration perhaps not to our taste, but functional. Kitchen adequate - could have used more cutlery and plates, etc. Just 2 of each, essentially, so you are always washing up. Good laundry. No WiFi. I think it was probably near the top of the options available in Hall’s Gap. The rest of the places looked pretty basic.

Wonderful surrounds and lots of privacy. Very comfortable and has everything you might need. Even though there are other villas on the property you don't realise that is the case. During our stay we hardly saw the other occupants. Easy check in and check out.
