The good location & clean room.

Location and access were good. A couple of things that bothered us were that I had inadvertently booked a basement unit. Unit was fine, but had no WiFi through thick concrete walls. Small unit that we had hoped to make our own meals in, but lack of a microwave was unfortunate. We were moved to a first floor unit after complaining about WiFi service. Maybe time will help, but a couple of other things would be nice, such as towel rack in bath, (heated towel rack is nice but no place for towels while taking a shower), a frying pan would also be nice. Clean modern units, priced reasonably.

Fantastic location, clean and modern room and facilities. Nice kichenette and some supplies to help you out should you want to cook (pots, bowls, some oil and salt and pepper). Helpful, since the food prices in Reykjavik are so high. Could have used some counter space in the bathroom by the sink, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

It was clean, comfortable beds, good shower and quiet. It needs a few more signs as to how to lock the door, how the tv works and some hooks in the bathroom. The wifi rarely worked. Since there is no front desk it’s hard to find suitcase storage for your time before your flight.

There wasn’t much more we could ask for. The property was so well heated - definitely a warm welcome back after long days out in the cold temperatures and snow!

Very easy to locate, instructions were precise and replies within minutes. The space was good enough for two and amenities were complete and clean. Would definitely come back here again.

We loved our stay - the apartment was incredibly clean and tidy with everything we needed for our week there. The kitchenette had everything you could need to cook and eat basic meals, the bathroom towels were clean, fresh and a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Our only criticisms would be the fact that there was no fan in the bathroom, yet the fire alarm was very sensitive (not in itself a bad thing!) so was triggered by the steam and went off on our first night. Due to the apartment not having staff on site, it was then sounding until someone could come across from their sister building. The room was also very warm, and despite turning off the radiators in the room and bathroom, the underfloor heating and general warmth of the building was perhaps a little too high! The apartment was located in a lovely area, close to the bus stop and local restaurants and shops. We were very happy, and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Reykjavik. The free wi-fi was a bonus, and the communication with the staff was brilliant: very simple check in process due to informative emails prior to arrival.

Lovely well equipped apartment. No parking but great location in down town Reykjavík. Comfy bed and decent shower.

It was a great location. Modern, clean comfy beds. But no microwave or oven couldn’t heat leftovers.

The Publishers House was a fantastic stay. This centrally located apartment provided all the necessary access to the heart of Reykjavik within minutes walk in all directions.I highly recommend these apartments for anyone visiting Iceland and Reykjavik and look forward to returning myself one day in the not to distant furture..

The location was perfect. The room was spacious but we expected that there will be everyday cleaning with changing bed sheets.
