It's a dated seaside motorlodge and the cheapest option in the area so keep that in mind. We had a good stay, the front desk guy was pleasant, the room was big and clean, the bed was pretty comfy, it was close to everything in Belmar and a quick trip to Asbury. This hotel served its purpose for us.
It was nice that they had a 1pm check-in, the pool looked nice. I will likely stay here again.

They closed the pool on us. My son’s girlfriend got a splinter on the railing, the water from the shower was brown. It did clear up. Mold in showed & ice machine!! If you’re a couple of kids or tight budget. Go for it. Otherwise go elsewhere.

Very friendly staff.
Nice area near the marina, plenty of restaurants, close to beach. Pool was nice, unlimited ice and coffee always works for me!
The bathroom could use some minor refurbishments. Couldn't completely turn of the tub faucet. But other than that was a much better experience than I anticipated for the price

The corridor and room smelled like smoke (for a non-smoking room). We arrived and the room door was open and the window was open and the A/C was cranked. I assume to remove the smell of smoke? It was bad enough that my eyes were very itchy. The next night (after rains) the room smelled like cat pee.
There was also a dirty knife (in an obvious location...so not hidden or anything) on the floor and the sheets had burn marks on them...as well as being pretty thread bare.
It is exceptionally convenient to where we needed to be, which is why we stayed there. Plus side, no sand fleas or bugs? We have stayed there in the past, but this was not work $350+ a night.

I can't believe it cost $400 to stay here for the night. It's very old, and not welcoming at all. If you have to stay here, get it and get out.

It was awful - I got either bed bug bites, or had an allergic reaction to the pillow cases - have massive red welts the day after my stay and started to notice them as I was tossing and turning at the hotel trying to sleep. The toilet shakes when sitting on it and the bathroom ceiling had a gaping hole in the ceiling going into crawl space just above the shower area. Not a good experience and it was actually not cheap either!

Room was clean and quite large. Bed was comfortable. Refrigerator and temperature control in good working order. Coffee in the lobby was surprisingly good.
The hotel is very outdated- Key for entry rather than a card, No USB charger, Outlets in inconvenient locations. Decorating very outdated and tired. No frills such as hair dryer, microwave or coffee machine. Halls dark and dank (no aircon there). We had a one night stay so it was adequate. Price at just under $300 was high but it is the Jersey Shore in July..

Too expensive for a Motel!!! needs to update/ upgrade property rooms ac not working properly, dirty sheets, dirty bathroom. I would Not recommend this place to anyone I know.

The location is good and the employees were great. The carpet and mattress cover needed to be cleaned. I have 2 extra charges after check out which I have not figured out yet. I will call the hotel and may need to dispute them. It was left better than upon arrival!

The pool was amazing, clean and salt water! It made the perfect ending to a day at the beach. Convenient to town, short drive to the beach. Older facility yet the rooms are large and suited us. Bed could be more comfortable yet overall fur the price, we were satisfied plus!

For the cost and location, I expected more and that should be my fault. For a toilet seat, small enough for a child and barely an adult. Toilet paper so thin, you could see through it. Great size fridge no microwave or coffee in the room.
Big Concern was the ice cube was constantly left in the ice bin.
My truly positive note, location, location, location. The staff was very polite and accommodating when possible the pool was amazing.

I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and happy to help with extra towels and pillows. This place is nothing fancy but it was comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking and plenty of walkable stores and restaurants. The pool was large and plenty of chairs for people. Very good location and all and all a good experience. I will return.

This property was absolutely disgusting and nothing like the pictures. There was no shower head, holes in the sheets, rust all over, the door didn’t fully lock. There was no service. I also booked a king bed room and got placed in a two double bed room.

This property is a wreck. I was in the room for all of 10 minutes, when to meet some friends, upon returning 3 cop cars at the front door, fight happened.i checked out immediately. Under no circumstances should anybody stay here

It was clean, maybe some updating could be done. We seen a show that night and didn't want to drive home, so it served our purpose.

Despite being a non-smoking room, the room (and the whole building) reeked of cigarettes the whole time. There was no fitted sheet on the bed, and the blankets had holes burned into them. It was quite outdated. The pillows were 2 inches thick and there were only 2 on each bed. There was also a sharp, pointy piece of metal sticking out of the bathroom doorknob that can seriously injure someone. The people at the front desk were friendly, but overall it was a very uncomfortable stay.

During our stay we found a cockroach in our room. We were forced to squeeze into our second connecting bedroom. We would’ve loved to leave early but we could not find any other places with availability due to the holiday weekend. Our neighbors also told us they had one in their rooms and the front desk would not give their money back and just switched their rooms
