Great location with a few Tesla chargers right in the parking lot. Our room was clean and comfortable but in need of some maintenance in the bathroom. Overall, a decent stay.

My room smelled very strange like dog and fragrance to cover and it was very loud. We could hear cars, people walking above us, etc.

Very nice clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay at this hotel again! The only thing I would suggest is more lights on the roads driving into the hotel.

Made my reservation as a nice treat in the first leg of my trip for work. About 45 minutes later, I noticed the dates were wrong.
Contacted expedia where I was informed this constitutes a cancelation which is rediculous. They still would have gotten the money just on a different night. Expedia contacted them and they refused to change it. This is such piss poor customer service and I, as a Marriott gold member, expected better. But there's a simple fix here.
I will never stay at a Marriott ever again.
You may have gotten a free night from me, but your company is about to lose 7 nights of bookings. Hope it was worth it.

From the parking lot all the way to the rooms bathroom it was impeccably clean. The bed was not quite the most comfortable I've slept on but it was a wonderful stay. The decor was perfect and the staff was very polite. It is close to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel was located about a mile from Grand View Medical Center which was very convenient for me. There is a shopping center across the street with various restaurants. The area is safe/quiet.

Staff was nice, parking lot limited especially in the evenings, lots of restaurants near by, hotel was clean and inviting. The only problem was our room was right beside the main interstate and the pool. It was so noisy and we did not get any sleep that night. If I had known, I would have asked for the rooms closer to the front of the hotel but I’m not sure if that would have made a big difference.

Room was nice. Fitness center not good. 4 cardio machines. 3 were broken. Many people tried to use the room but couldn’t. Breakfast was fair. Not one of my better stays in Birmingham.

I was looking for a place for my children to swim for spring break. This was the 4th hotel that day i tried. I was told the over the phone that it was a inside pool. Got to hotel and it was a outside pool. While at hotel was told that pool was heated. Got in pool and it was cold. I ordered i suite and to sleep up to 4 guests. Got in such room and it wasn't a suite. A conjoined room without a let out bed. My children and i had to sleep on floor. It was only 4 of us. I was very disappointed and so where my children.

We were just in town for one night and the hotel was good for a quick stay. The lobby and all common areas were clean and updated. The check-in process was quick and the staff friendly. The room was mostly nice overall. It was noticeably dirty around the edges of the floor in the bathroom and there were crumbs in the corner of the room near one of the beds. The beds were not very comfortable at all. Given the price, I expected higher standards than that. So, it’s was good for a quick stay but we wouldn’t stay longer than one night if we return to Birmingham.

Yes, the hotel looks new but it's cheap construction.. you can literally hear those above you walking around their room and we needed a room change because we had jumpy children up above. The breakfast is below average, please sort out that Waffle mix.. it's so bland I saw many people like me, we threw the waffle away because there was no sweetness and it's soggy. Room was ok but we had ants in our bathtub which we showed the frontdesk and had to have another room change..

Great stay. But… Under bedside table, the wall was damaged around the power socket and a piece of wall was laying on the floor. I expect better from this company.
