We stayed in Room 601 (2-bedroom apartment). The room is cozy, very clean, has kitchen to cook simple meal, medium size fridge, 2 TVs, and clean bathroom. The location is perfect - walking distance to Patong Beach (or you can get cheap bike rental beside the hotel) - convenience store and pharmacy just across the road - halal food is served in Hotel (or you can get 'nasi lauk' from Harisa Rice & Curries which is walking distance from Hotel) All the staffs are friendly and helpful, especially Usman. He even contacted us before our trip and help to book for transportation from/to airport with special rates. He also provide good tips and suggestions to ensure we enjoy our trip, and he is always available 24/7! Will definitely stay in this hotel again! ;)

Value for money with connectting room. Clean but not do housekeeping everyday. No standard due to 1 room 1 glass + 1 bath towel, anorher room 2 glasses + 2 towels. Can request for beach towel with foc.

We had an extremely enjoyable stay at Baan Thai Beach Side Residence. All of the staff we met during our stay were very friendly and polite. We were especially impressed by Usman who looked after us well throughout our trip with any requests we had and happily offered to organise our airport transfers to and from the hotel in a private taxi for us. He was very welcoming and attentive which made us feel at home here and we would stay again just based on his kindness alone. He ensured our rooms were comfortable for us from the very beginning when we arrived after midnight and he even showed us up to our room. Our room was much better than expected, we woke up to a nice view of the street and surrounding mountains. We had our room cleaned daily with fresh towels and the hotel itself was tidy with free available beach towels in the lobby. It was convenient having a restaurant downstairs for when it was raining or when we were too tired to go out and they were happy to cater their menu to our vegan diet. The staff could speak English well enough to understand our requests and were happy to teach us some of their language. There's also a Family Mart just across the road, 7-Eleven within a few metres and plenty of fruit shops nearby as well as being a short walk to the beach and not far from centre of town or Bangla Road. This hotel is definitely worth it for the cheap price, location and friendly people. We were very pleased with our time here and we would happily stay here again.

On arrival we were unfortunately not given our booked room, as a previous guest had dirty the room. However, the hotel team directly provided us with an equivalent or better room. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Bangla Road. As the hotel has its own restaurant it is also possible to eat directly in the lobby. The rooms are clean and tidy but the water did not drain off fast enough during the shower. The hotel staff especially "Uzman" (hope it is written correctly :D ) have always answered our questions and requests (thanks again). Towels for the beach and a hair dryer are available free of charge at the reception. You can also rent a scooter directly at the reception so that you can explore the island. The WLAN/WiFi in the rooms is very good and has never caused any problems. Tip: In any case rent a scooter and explore the island on your own.

It is quite a nice experience to live in this hotel .

The hotel provide very good service and a quiet , comfortable ,clean room. We go to the patong beach and shopping mall is quite a short distance. In addition , the restaurant of this hotel is good, the food is very delicious. So , I will choose this hotel again when I come to Phuket next time .

Great service and staff, 10-15 minutes walk from everything. Only problem was the cleaners, they were very bad. Bad attitude and bad at there jobs.

The light was off during the night at entrance,a staff was sitting there watching people entering. Should have turn the lights on. Shocked to see some one suddenly watching at me while I was entering. Scary !!.

Towel arragement. The staff was friendly. However, we wanted the hairdryer.

Overall I had a good stay. The staff was very friendly and I loved the restaurant and servers on the first floor, it was cheap and it had thai food to spaghettis to schnitzels. There are Bike rentals and tour bookings nearby for a good price. I will definetly recommend this place.

In general good place to stay if you aren't going to stay in hotel for half of the day. A bit far from main attractions, 25 mins walk. wi-fi is slightly poor. And we had an issue with air-conditioning, but they provided a late check out as a set-off against it. That really worked for us.
