The rooms are fine (reasonable size, comfortable beds) and the location close to downtown. Have stayed there before and would definitely go there for third or fourth time.
The connection in particular to midtown is awesome whereas the surrounding is not the best - whereas we didn’t feel unsafe.
Breakfast variety is acceptable but for us definitely sufficient - just why don’t you get a real wafflemaker instead of the waffles you have to toast?
Also like the gym. It only has a couple of items but as long it’s well maintained and there is a working bike, treadmill and some weights I’m happy.

The hotel itself was very nice, modern, and clean. The beds were very comfortable. They provided complimentary breakfast from 6:30 to 10am.
The parking is very limited, I believe that I counted about 8, maybe 9, parking spots - after those are taken then you need to use street parking.
The surrounding area is near some NYCHA housing projects, as well as some homeless shelters - so, some of the people you will see in the streets can look a little‘sketchy’. I did, however, see a police presence.
Overall, I had a really comfortable and good experience.

Staff was super kind and accommodating. Rooms were clean and beds were soft. Breakfast was good. We used public transportation the whole 3 days so it was just a 4 minute walk to the train and 2 stops into Manhattan.

good stay to visit NYC some nights 2-3 out of 7 nights there was noise from the street of music all night. the breakfast was good but there was almost no space to sit.

The hotel itself was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. What I didn’t like was I was put on the the 4th floor near the elevator when I specifically asked ahead of time for an upper floor (16 floors), away from the elevator. I also don’t like being in a handicapped room where the water gets all over the bathroom floor while taking a shower. When I asked the front desk why I was placed in that room, I was told that what I was assigned. The hotel was far from full.

Breakfast room very small, impossible to receive a lot of people.
In the breakfast room cleaning of the table completely absent.
Also inside room the cleaning is insufficient, even if required.

The room was noisy late at night. I had an early medical procedure. It wasnt great. Ither than that, the rooms were clean.

This is located in a terrible sketchy area. I would avoid this place at all costs. I was forced to book a room here only because I couldn't get one last minute. Safety of the place and hotel is very very poor. My expensive electric toothbrush went missing and there was no honest effort put into retrieving it and the process was a complete joke

I enjoyed staying here because it was very close to the train station, and the bus stops were in a walkable distance. The nice thing was that, there was a laundromat right in front of the hotel, along with a corner store. So, it was very convenient for my stay. The staff was amazing, they were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return to this hotel.

No parking that felt safe especially at night. Police and ambulance activity around the hotel. Hotel appears to be in the middle of homeless shelters.

The area felt very unsafe. They only had like six spots to park and we had to drive around for an hour and a half to park at 1:00 am.

Had a great stay with some friends during the US Open. I liked the property itself with nice rooms and really comfortable towels. Breakfast was great and had a variety of foods. Even got to meet a tennis star! Also, the proximity to the subway was a plus. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Hotel itself is very clean and staffs are friendly. Front desk staff and breakfast staffs were friendly. Location is little shady. Breakfast is plus. Location is little sketchy with trash on the road and random people on street.

The hotel service is great. However, I did not like the immediate vicinity of the hotel because it was primarily dirty during the week-end I spent there. Maybe during the week days the environment may look better.

It’s a great hotel in a dirty neighborhood. Police presence was prevalent in the evening so safety didn’t seem to be an issue.

The hotel was good... the service excellent.. the location was excellent, metro station not far but the neighbourhood quite weird.. not feel so nice.. but overall good hotel..

After reading reviews I was nervous, but once I got there it was great.! Jose at the front desk is a delight! Great guest service all around. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the city and the Bodega around the corner had good food! Queens bridge projects are literally across the street but we didn’t have any problems. People are people so the review of it being scary must be very sheltered people. I really enjoyed our stay and will book here anytime we come from Houston, Texas! Thanks again Jose!

The property itself is great. However, the surroundings are pretty scary. Lots of homeless people were roaming around, sitting, sleeping, or doing drugs. If you are traveling with kids in the late evening or night, it is very scary.
Convenient area, but I probably won’t come back again.
