Hotel was clean, well maintained. Male at reception on arrival was very blunt when asking about checking in early charges are 10 pounds per room per hour. The tone and manner was un professional. Dog's seem to given prioity bowls throughout reception, free dog treats. A member of the party was told off by reception staff for eating non hotel food in reception after restaurant had closed, no obvious signage and as stated above with preference given to dog bowls.

Great staff, warm welcome after a long journey, room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless, had evening meals in restaurant which were very god, breakfast was great a big buffet, a bit disappointed they didn't offer the traditional Scottish ie haggis

We loved our very brief stay here and would have loved to stay longer. Our room was comfortable and plenty space for the four of us to enjoy a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from for us and the kids. The waffle maker was a real hit!
We’ll definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay here rooms were equipped with all you needed, staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovey with a lot of choices make your own waffles cereal full cooked breakfast and lots of choices of drinks. Would stay here again.

Staff were absolutely fantastic with us on our stay. Our dog became the centre of attention for the staff as she’s a proper “talker” and gobs off at anyone and everyone. We’ll definitely use this as our regular stop over on the way to Shetland each summer

Average at best, poor bed, poor service and dining room. I think they forgot about our order and then brought it when it was cold after I asked where it was. Many many stains on the carpet in our room.

We chose this place to attend the Edinburgh Fringe. It is located near M8 and has new and clean decor, parking, and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet could be improved with more options and a little better organisation.

Dining options a little limited, mostly unhealthy foods as per usual in a lot of hotels.

Had a wonderful stay here really clean hotel and very friendly staff throughout. We had our dinner here on 3 of the nights we stayed and food was good. No complaints will stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights and tbh didn’t want to leave, hotel was spotless, rooms where kitted out with everything you could need. The staff were amazing and super friendly. We were lucky to be here when the horse racing was on and it was a super fun night for us and the kids. Will definitely be back.

I booked a room with a king-size bed and a view, but on arrival was given a twin room with no view. Was informed that rooms are routinely overbooked and this is normal.
Hotel was of a very good standard with high-quality fixtures and fittings, and the room well equipped.

The staff was fantastic! Very clean. The horse races made it unique but the hotel guest should be allowed to sit outside on the patio area while the races are going on.
The breakfast was ok. The fruit selection was limited except for the last day we were there. The dinner menu was good with a selection of curry dishes.
