Never heard of this hotel but had a great deal. Avid was perfect for our short getaway! Room was clean bed was comfy and the grab n go breakfast was a basic but good selection.

Overall the stay was fine. The bed was not to my comfort level, as it was on the harder side. The room above me were either having a stomping contest or there is very little sound deadening between floors. The breakfast they provide had great choices. The room seemed clean and the bathroom was clean looking as well.

Very clean. Very comfortable. I could hear the person above my room walking around and in and out if the bathroom. It wasn’t a big deal, but I’ve never experienced that in a hotel room before.

Hotel was clean, bed was very comfortable. Dove products in the shower was nice. Continental breakfast was a bit disappointing, they had quality coffee but the remainder of breakfast was grab-and-go instead of anything homemade. Would be fine for a business trip but for a couples trip we chose to find a local diner.

No in room coffee machine or microwave. These are available downstairs, coffee is very good. Elevators are slow, very slow in late mornings. Usually very quiet but the last night I had a heavy-footed person(s) in the room above me, NOT quiet.

The staff were great and very friendly. Room was clean and very nice for our weekend get away. There are a few restaurants in walking distance which we enjoyed

It delivers on its promise of being a modern, efficient stay at budget prices. Parking was great. Room was modern, clean and ample. Breakfast and coffee were surprisingly good

It was perfect for a work stay. The colors are a little dull and darkish but very clean and extremely comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

Breakfast options in the lobby were great - surprising variety! Hard floors with no rugs in the rooms just didn't feel right. I would not choose this hotel again.

Wonderful stay here. The staff were helpful and kind. The rooms were clean. Dog friendly spaces were clean and without feces and garbage like most other pet friendly hotels. Truly this property was a stand out, would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here several times when visiting Madison. It is close to my son, as well as centrally located to almost everything,from the zoo, to downtown, and to the airport. I do wish they had a water and dryer on site for longer stays.

The staff was very friendly, needed something printed and the lady at the desk was super helpful and printed it for me.
Room was clean, quiet, bed was comfortable and location was easy to find.

We are staying at the Avid more regularly now & will continue to do so if the cost remains reasonable. It is a newer property & cleanliness is important to us. So far, so good. Front desk staff & manager are always wonderful at check in.

Clean, comfortable, in a suburban area with food options. About 10 min from downtown Madison. Appreciate the to-go breakfast and fresh ground coffee. Beds have a additional cushiony pad on them that make them comfortable.Stayed 3 nights.

Everyone at the hotel was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was good enough, not great -a typical hotel breakfast of convenience.
Hotel location was excellent, we were able to get to many university and city sites.
We would stay here again.

Overall, this was a very good hotel. The rooms are very clean and neat and I like the minimalist touch. The only problem I had was the customer service. We waited 20 minutes to check in because the front desk attendant was outside doing something. When she returned inside she didn't say anything to us and checked us in as if we had just arrived. Her attitude was less than welcoming and it appeared that she did not want to be there.

This hotel was so clean. Very minimal rooms but with everything you need. Bathroom was spotless and linens were clean. No carpeting, which also made it seem very clean. I was visiting University of Wisconsin with my daughter and we were only there one night. It was a short drive to campus and since parking was tough near campus, we Ubered ($25)and left our car here. We left early and there were great grab and go food options.
