Always stay here when we visit Southport.We are never dissappointed. Rooms are clean....bedding is like sleeping on a cloud! Mini kitchens with stovetop, full fridge and coffee maker with Kcups and creamer. Large clean bathrooms. Always very comfortable and location is on the itracoastal. they have a beautiful pool on the water and a large gathering area with tables and chairs

Nice place for a fun weekend in Southport!
Nice rooms, updated and clean. Nearby cute little beach with tons of shells for kids to shell hunt. Nice pool area and patio for eating/sitting by the water. Friendly staff. Walkable (a little far but less than a mile) to most places in Southport town. Close to ferry up to Fort Fischer or Bald Head Island.

I smoke and I know not to smoke in any room or balcony and we had to sign a paper on this which included anywhere on property or pay a $500 fine. I feel my rights were denied cause I had to go to top of driveway and walk down the road in front of woods to smoke and at night very uncomfortable. One side of bed went basically half way down to floor and very uncomfortable. The people above us stomped when walked around and hollered at each other. Was ok but felt like personal rights invaded. No rules about people drinking or people being loud. There was plenty of room outside on property for a small smoking area. Location was good from water park front. Could walk

The location and accommodations were excellent! This is our second stay and would most likely stay again. I know that musical preferences vary, but I do not like the live music on Thursday. Though some nights we may not return to our room before 8:30, there are times when quiet is appreciated after 7. We were in room 109 and could still hear the music. Perhaps 5-7:30 would be a better time for live music.

It is a private area where you can relax and enjoy your stay. The pool and private beach area are well maintained. There was also a 2 piece band that played one night and a food truck! We had a great time!

Quiet and relaxing. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The room shows it has been updated and well kept. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, full size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Mini stove and coffee maker. In walking distance to walk through South Port’s main strip. Clean pool overlooking river. The river wasn’t too clean due to recent hurricane and a little scary with it being an alligator habitat. But the pool was good enough for us. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a late arrival and the staff was very courteous, ensuring we knew the procedures for checking in. Room was roomy and beds were comfy. Coffee pot was a bit tricky, but that was probably user error.

The property itself is very well maintained and very clean and safe. The property next to it is like a dump and looking out of our window was like looking at a trash dump. Sad… because the hotel is the opposite, so nice and I am sure they can’t do much about that property owed by someone else… so we just looked up at the river and tried not to focus on that property, because we loved the hotel

Rooms were nice and clean, check in was easy and the front desk was very helpful. They were accomodating to our special needs regarding parking with our truck and musician trailer. Location was so close to everything! Great experience!

The property is in Southport, NC a nice little town that has restaurants and shopping on the waterfront. The Hotel, has it's own private beach and pool and the rooms are clean, have a full size refrigerator and is equipped with dishware and utensils. All in all, we really enjoyed the location and the hotel itself and will come back next time we are in the area.

All in all, the facilities were pretty much all of what one would want for a short stay in Southport. Nothing stands out on either the negative and positive side ... meaning that comfort, convenience, good upkeep were there for the taking.

It was ok, loved the location, the pool and riverfront were great, so many “rules” at check in, balcony chair and table not comfortable and one chair broken, says river view but with the trees could not see, would be great if they were trimmed, we were on the middle floor and above us was loud, sounded they like were pounding across the floor not walking.

It is an awesome location. Seeing the boats coming and going was awesome. I think it could use a little updating. I was in a wheelchair and they did get me a shower chair but the shower faucet needs to be more adjustable and better options for it. Also, the hot water did run out too fast when showering. Otherwise the place was very clean and nice.

A near new hotel property in perfect condition. Everything new and shiny. Great beds. End of building faces the Cape Fear river, but the rooms dont have any real views.
Nice Swimming pool on property, and direct access to river beach. Only a short walk into the delightful historic town streets of Southport.
They had a band playing next to the pool 4-6 pm, and often have food truck on site also.
Ideally set up for longer holiday stays, with family size fridges and kitchens - although the only cooking appliance is the microwave, which is a bit odd.
