we were skeptical at first after reading the reviews, but everything was a non issue to us.great place . good food. Bartender Ren is the best in the premises. would definitely come back. ok some workers disnt smile and greet us but that in no way affected our stay. we had a blast

Love the huge pool area, with the swim-up bar.

This is a very nice hotel, however, I went for a girls’ trip (4 of us) and for me this hotel caters a lot more to families with little kids. We only used the pool 1x because it was always full of little kids screaming and playing and having an awesome time. The beach was nice, clean and relaxing. Another ‘bad’ thing was the dinning options. Super hard to make reservations at any of the nicer restaurants. It felt like the hotel was a bit understaffed when it came to the restaurants. We would try to do walk ins and even though there were always plenty of empty tables we were always told they were full. For an adult only trip I wouldn’t go back, instead I would try the next door hotel the Reef which seemed better for adults. If I did a family’s trip I would consider going back understanding the limitations with the restaurants. As an adult vacation hotel I would give this hotel 3 stars but if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel for your family a 4 stars is fair.

For all inclusive it wasn't quality

Horrible rooms. Spiderwebs in corners. Moldy smell. Zero customer service or care. Zero entertainment. NO normal outlet, so was unable to plug anything in. Lounge cushions disgustingly stained. Pictures posted online are deceiving. But drive 15 min to Kokomo Beach and you’ll finally see paradise! Don’t waste your money here!

I like the convenience of the water park and beach for the kids.

This Resort has many of the same features as Resorts such as RIU but do not have enough staff. The general buffet area does serve Breakfast, lunch and dinner and Is open past midnight but thoughout the day staff does not clear tables fast enough to accommodate new diners. There are 4 restaurants in addition to the Main buffet… Sushi, Seafood, Italian, and BBQ. 2 require reservations and the other 2 are first come-first served. They are so understaffed they only fill the restaurants to half capacity and then have the guests wait (standing) in line for up to an hour to be seated.

There is a couple of things that I had issues with one is the restaurants, there was a few we had to have reservations for. Usually they’re really booked so before you come to the resort I would recommend that you make your reservations ahead of time. It was also an issue with wash cloths, I couldn’t get any clean ones one night which was an issue. Other than that, the resort was really nice. The food was decent, I wish we got to experience the BBQ restaurant.

That's hotel is advertised as a five star property and it is not. While most of the staff was wonderful there were lots of things lacking daily. They would constantly run out of dishes, glasses, and towels. Items like refrigerators in rooms were missing. They also played loud music every night until midnight. Breakfast was great but the dinner and lunch dining options were lacking. We had to make a reservation for BBQ and while the food and service were great it took forever. Its a great property for families but not couples. It is definitely not 5 Star and is sold like a 5 star. Again, a nice property and staff but way overpriced.

Had a wonderful stay!! Staff were super friendly and helpful! Grounds were immaculate! Beautiful and comfortable! Will definitely choose this hotel again when returning for vacation. Comparing other hotels in the area..no other could compare. I was so pleased with my stay at Mangrove Beach Corredon Curacao.

the rooms were clean and the staff was really friendly! The food was good and we were really impressed by the number of options each night (especially for an all inclusive resort, where food options can feel limited after the 2nd or 3rd night). We loved the beach was so accessible. The pools and the water park were also a hit! The number of pigeons that were hanging around the food areas was annoying but it didn’t seem like anything the resort staff could control and they did their best to clear the food areas as quickly as possible.

Foos was delicious and had great variety. But service was lack luster. Employees seened disinterested in serving. Even if they saw a long line there was still no sense of urgency in either communicating or actually serving. But the resort was clean and well maintained.

I loved the beaches! The food was alright at the buffet. It was very difficult getting reservations at the restaurants. You should reserve as soon as you book your trip. Rooms are ok, they have everything needed but they don't keep up with maintenance. One thing that I never experienced at any other resort is that you have to reserve and pay $20. a day for the palm tree umbrellas. The cabanas are llike $89. a day! The regular umbrellas are free, but you must get up early and save your umbrella or you will not find any available. The taxis to and from mambo beach are $30. each way. You also pay $3.50 for person to get in. I must add the water is BEAUTIFUL! we also had lunch at Bocas and it was delicious.

Hated it.

They seemed understaffed, main pool is not clear you cannot see the bottom, restaurants were okay, pool bartenders didn’t have special drinks, no blenders to make frozen drinks and all our drinks were not good. We rented a car and spent the entire week going around to public beaches that were amazing. I wouldn’t waste money staying here for all inclusive.

The property definitely needs maintenance. Most of the staff was not friendly, most was very rude.

From day one house keeping has been terrible! I checked into my room to find a big stain on my sheets, dead remains of a bug on the wall. My privacy nor my safety was a priority at this location, on my third day at this hotel I came back from an excursion with my room open when I went to the front desk “the manager on call” told me housekeeping said “sorry” & shrugged his shoulder's. Mind you they had people on the property that shouldn’t have been there filming a movie on floor yet all I received was a dismissive “sorry”. After that I did not feel safe on his property, that “manager” has covered up my incident I say this because when I was checking out I shared my experience with another manager & she was unaware of what I was experiencing during my stay there. Some staff there also needs some customer service training they attitude I received just for some ice is disgusting! I also got locked in my room the first night. The staff at my excursions & the people in town were more friendly & accommodating than some of the staff on the property.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel grounds were good. However the food is 5/10. The restaurants very basic no variety of foods. The buffet was decent alot of variety, the food was better than restaurant. The room flooded and they hotel knew about it at 3am and didnt tell anyone. Electronics and clothing ruined. Hotel did nothing so far. I rate my stay. 6/10.

very underwhelmed by this curio property. My AC did not work or when it did it wouldn’t go below 22, housekeeping took my dirty towels and didn’t replace them, food at the buffet was usually room temp, and customer service was really inconsistent everywhere. friends had their room flooded from the floor above and the hotel did nothing. I know island time and these types of all inclusive are a different breed, but this was really a miss. Props to the pool bar staff and the entertainment staff tho!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!This is not what I was expecting at all!!! first of all no staff is friendly not even a smile the pool chair cushions look like they have mold and are not cleaned at all. we rented for 100 bucks a cabana at pool side which should have come with service by a staff member which we never saw we complained 5 times and eventually we had to get our own drinks so after the last complaint they said they would give us the next day for free and so the next day came and we was not given the same cabana as we were told so we didn’t complain since it was free and then we went through the same nonsense and we complained again about the service in which they did send someone after the second complaint! The buffet has no table service you have to get your own silverware and no one is around to seat you or serve you drinks you have to get it yourself so basically you do whatever you want and the food is very limited not much variety and when I tried the oxtail it was extremely salty I couldn’t even eat it. The restaurants have only 2 options to choose from in each restaurant menu the food was basic and tasteless and the drinks are NOT top shelf anywhere unless you buy at gift shop and it’s only Bacardi for a tiny bottle and I paid 25 dollars There is no pool entertainment at all….we would NEVER go back again. This was a waste of money!!!

This was an all-inclsuive resort, the food, entertainment, beach and the amenities were great. The front desk staff was rude, I had to wait over 2 hours to check in, when I got to my room there was no running water in the sink, it wasn’t cleaned and there was a musty smell. I complained about it and the supervisor (Debby) rushed to get me another room, this room had a door that was broken, I called maintenance when I got stuck in the room because I could not open the door. No room service, housekeeping takes forever to respond to any requests. Shampoo/Conditioner and Soap was empty in the bathroom and not replenished when the room was cleaned. Overall, it was a 6/10 for me.

I loved the resort

Everything was on point, from meals, drinks, the beach, pool and welcoming staff

Had multiple issues. Had to move rooms after 1 day as the AC was broken. New room had low water pressure issues and a gas smell coming out of the drain. Food was okay and staff appeared to be annoyed when you asked for anything! The Food Street restaurant is currently advertised as open from 11 pm - 2 am but was not in reality. The pool water was not clean and always appeared to be cloudy. This is not Hilton quality and I would not come back.

Check in was nightmare, rooms ok! Idea of mini bar is 2 local beers, 2 sodas. No water 2 times including day of check out that you couldn’t shower before you left. Food was never hot, limited selection , service was terrible. Not what I would rate for all inclusive. Very disappointed and charged way too much for what you got, if you could get. Island very nice, resort had a lot to work on, if I knew cruise ship came in and that was your view out window .. no way and they over ran resort! Would not recommend to anybody, room service only showed up couple times during 7 nite stay , never restocked. Very disappointed and staff didn’t seem to care.

Need more activities

The food was great especially the Co and Don BBQ restaurant, and the breeze buffet was great. Food was very tasty and alot of options.

Great location for the property. The restaurants on site are below average unfortunately. The food comes out cold and is overly Americanized. For all the money we pay to stay here, we ended up finding better food options off the resort. The staff are nice people but seem irritated when you ask for help with the simplest things. Overall, the rooms are the best part of the resort -- spacious, great natural light, and LARGE balconies :). I will certainly return to Curacao but would not return here to stay. The food and large rats that came out at night completely turned me off.

The resort was great. I like that. They had a waterpark at the resort. It was very fun. Also liked the pool and the bar service were very attentive and friendly. I experienced issue with the air conditioner in the room was brought up to get services several times and they did attempt to repair it, but nothing happened. AC was cold during the day but very warm at night when I was there would wake up sweating from how warm it was but overall had a great time.
