So so, a bit outdated, not super clean. Breakfast was nice. Pretty noisy/loud, didn't sleep well. Is cheap.

I wanted to like the hostel, but it just got worse and worse until I had to leave early. It caters to school groups, which can mean long lines at breakfast and a lot of yelling and banging on doors because some of the students are very young. I also suspect the hostel sells any available beds each night at a discount to migrants and homeless people. But this is very late, so I had random people coming into the room at 2 and 4 am, turning the lights on and banging around. This happened three nights in a row, so I didn't sleep for three nights. Oh and on the last night before I left with the remnants of my sanity, I was bitten by bed bugs.

It is a hostel so it is what it is. But clean and in a good location. The front desk is very helpful.

Helpful multilingual staff at the desk 24/7 was very useful as I had a delayed flight. Free breakfast was a good bonus with generous and reasonable timings. I also liked the personally issued lockers that you don't have to pay extra for unlike some other hostels. The communal areas in the hostel were clean and well looked after, and it's a nice neighbourhood too if you want to get some local food or even fast food. I could do with an extra pillow but overall it wasn't a bad stay. Convenient, relatively comfortable and cheap. Good stay!

Breakfast was convenient and a good start to the day. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. Lockers for storage were big. Rooms did not have easy way to regulate heat which caused overheating at night.

Only had one night stay but was a comfortable one. staff were very lovely rooms and bathroom was clean i had a pleasant experience would definitely recommend stopping here if you are travelling to Geneva!

I was totally impressed with the Geneva Hostel. My first stay in this setting and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a clean, hospitable, safe place to stay.

Good: convenient location, friendly staff, dining options Bad: other guests were very loud in the lobby until very late at night. Shower designed poorly - shower head doesn’t hold itself up and is very low so you have to hold it yourself

I found the Geneva Hostel to be excellent value for money. We are a family of 4, couple with two kids and stayed in a quadruple room with two bunk beds with a shared bathroom. I realised later that I could have booked a quadruple room with one bunkbed for the kids and two single beds with a private bathroom for not a lot more. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to the main station. The hotel is modern, clean and the breakfast is surprisingly good to be included in the price. The breakfast included mini croissants and mini pain of chocolat which was a nice touch on the top of the usual, toast with jam, cereals with milk and fruit.

A beautiful place

For a comfy bed in Geneva for the night it's perfect. I'd come in from Venice by train at midnight, it was 10 minutes walk to hostel from Geneva Main Station, check in was easy and decent breakfast included. You can walk to Lake Geneva in 5 minutes. Facilties we're good, clean and functional. I don't usual stay in Hostels but for a bed and shower en route, it's perfect.

We had a private room and it was quite terrible. The bed was very uncomfortable: the pillows, blankets, mattresses and bed linen. Also there was no air conditioning apart from a fan. The bathroom was quite poor, too. But the good thing is the breakfast and location were good.

The hostel is in a good location to explore Geneva. Room was a good size and had a walk out shared balcony. Included breakfast was good. The only downside was that checking in was a slow process with a line of guests waiting

Very efficient, good price for a short stay. Easy to walk to station and to lake side, old city, Botanic garden. Free travel card provided (I didn't use it). Generous, if odd, breakfast bag provided as I had to leave early

I recently stayed at Geneva Hostel during my trip to Switzerland. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, enhancing my experience. The cozy atmosphere and inclusive breakfast were definite highlights. However, room security was a concern as outsiders could enter easily. The neighborhood was pleasant for walks, and the balance between social interaction and privacy could be better. Overall, a positive stay with potential for improvement.

This was my first hostel I have ever stayed at and it was such an incredibly welcoming experience. A stayed in an all female room that had 3 bunk beds and held 6 girls. You were given a key card that gave you access to the “sleeping quarters,” the bathrooms, and your own locker. It felt very safe! And I love that I didn’t need my own lock for the locker. The staff were incredible helpful and kind. The location of the hostel is a 10 minute walk to the lake! The breakfast was simple but more than enough. My only complaint I have is how hot the rooms were due to lack of air conditioning, but that was to be expected. Although having a fan in the room would have made the heat more tolerable.

Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Great location close to waterfront and city center. Huge breakfast selection in the morning.
