Excellent hotel. Travelled with my husband & 3 children. V easy transport links from airport. Bought 3 day travel pass. Bus 57 to Gamla Stan, approx 20 minutes, one bus stop to Solna train station and train into main Stockholm train station. Hotel family room great for our needs, buffet breakfast good selection. Had the hotel's Summer buffet the first evening which was ok as we were tired but went to Gamla Stan for other evenings. An excellent hotel if you don't mind being outside the city centre. In our opinion much nicer to travel in and be located right next to a beautiful park.

Quite close to city center and within walking distance from bus station (3-5 min only). The hotel has a "living room" where families/friends can spend some time before going to sleep, the space had some board games, coffee, tea and comfortable places to hang out. The room was big and beds and linen were comfortable and quite. Breakfast had a lot of variety for every taste.

Great place to stay with direct connection to the Airport, and the City.

Close to Hagaparken for runs and walks. Easy access to transportation. Wonderful breakfast each morning

Hotel Gio is one of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed at. Great interior design with a huge shared living room. Rooms are a little smaller but it's fine for 1 night stay. Loved the breakfast. It's a huge selection that is delicious and healthy. One of the best we've had at a hotel. The location is great. Walking distance to the largest historical city park with cool architecture, by the lake, great for running.

Great Hotel breakfast but you need to book your timeslot the day before. You need to book your parking for the car before as well else it can be hard to find something close by. I give the hotel 5 stars even with 2 minus points.

Everything was great. I am not sure if this is a regional thing or not but the hotel staff did not help with bags at all. They noticed me bringing in multiple bags but there was no mention of the available carts, they only let me know they had them after I asked when I realized I had no assistance for taking bags upstairs to our room. It would be nice if the staff could help point out the available tools for guests even if they do not help with the transportation of the bags.

We greatly enjoyed the decor and breakfast. The property was a short Uber ride to town and the location worked out just fine for us. There is a park in walking distance as well as two restaurants that we enjoyed.

It was conveniently located for the transportation to the center and the airoport.

Stayed for 7 nights here. The hotel was very clean, and the studio room was spacious. The breakfast was okay, but it became repetitive over a longer stay. Unfortunately, the reception staff was generally unwelcoming and unkind. They rarely smiled or greeted guests warmly. While there was one receptionist who was very nice and helpful, the rest of the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Additionally, they didn't resolve any problems that arose during our stay. All rooms are close to the highway, resulting in noise. The issue with the curtains not fully blocking the light was left unresolved, likely due to poor design, with no alternatives offered. The room received sunlight very early, around 03:00, and the curtains didn’t fully block the light, which might be troublesome for light sleepers. Another issue was the lack of separated beds in the studio. When we asked for a solution, the only option presented was a downgrade to a smaller room. They didn’t offer an upgrade to a room with two separate beds, even if we were willing to pay more. This inflexibility and lack of customer service added to the disappointment. The location is okay, about a 25-minute bus ride to Stockholm city. Overall, while the cleaning staff was great, the reception staff was disappointing and unprofessional.

I stayed in the small room. The building is old and heavy but interior is renovated. Good breakfast.

Stayed in a nice apartment room with also nice view. Had slept well in comfortable bed, not hard and to soft. Bathroom was with shower and quite big. Could just not find a wall socket for hairdryer: -) Breakfast is nice and for all I like was available. Hotel looks from outside first impression a bit "ahm" but it's just the architecture from the time it was build. Inside is very cozy and has also nice restaurant. Thanks for the stay

Close to public transportation. Staff were great! Breakfast was great! Common areas like the outdoor patio and the 'living room' were great! Yep, great!

Travelled from Canada for the Taylor Swift concert, and this hotel was great! Comfortable, clean rooms and walkable to Friends Arena / Mall of Scandinavia. Staff was great! They even had our room ready in advance of our check in time with our early arrival. Overall great experience!

Upsides - good communal facilities, excellent breakfast, secure, airport bus stops outside and good value for money. Downsides - allocated room on motorway side which was noisy 24/7.

Good and clean hotel in a location not too far from Stockholm

We had a fabulous long weekend here. Very handy for the Haga Parkrun and Solna metro station (both about 15mins walk, though not in the same direction). Very clean, stylish and most fabulous array of food for the buffet breakfast. My only criticism is the lack of storage in the bedroom. There is a large hanging space but I would have loved a drawer or shelf for smalls, apart from the very high one above the hangers which was too high for me to see into. We would stay again.

1. The hotel has its own parking but still charges guests for parking. Could definitely make it free for the guests, particularly considering overpriced rates for most of the nights. 2. Minifridge is tiny, but generates so much heat that everything what is places on the cabined is heated and melted. 3. The rooms are inadequately equipped for the number of guests.

- airport and downtown are easy to reach, thanks to the bus stop in front and across from the hotel - comfortable beds - love their big, cozy living room where guests can lounge and have complimentary hot drinks - wall to wall carpet in the room - excellent breakfast - welcoming staff - love the family room with two bunk beds - Wish they had dark curtains on the bathroom door to prevent outside light from coming through at night and give privacy to those taking a shower - hotel carpeting needs replacing, they’re looking old - family room is a bit tiny for 5-6 people

Me and my wife and toddler and family really enjoyed staying here in this great hotel, the staff were kind and pleasant and helped with every single request I had. The breakfast had good options, although we couldn't eat any of the meats as not halal, there was still plenty of good options for us. Thank you hotel Gio for a great experience, next time i am in Sweden i will surely book this hotel again.

A great hotel with clean rooms, good breakfast and great restaurant. Gym could use some more equipment, but was enough for a quick morning workout

Although a little way out of Stockholm this hotel has great transport links to and from the city and the airport. Situated in a largely residential area there are a small number of restaurants available but a 10 minute walk and 2 stops on the train will have you at Stockholm central station. The room in the hotel was not large but was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast choices were superb. We would certainly consider staying here again if visiting Stockholm.

The hotel was very clean, quiet and well maintained. Staff were friendly. It is easily accessible by public transportation. We headed out into our day after a great biffet style breakfast with many options.

Location was excellent for the airport bus and commuter rail service from Arlanda airport to Solna. Great park opposite for morning jog or walk. Good range of breakfast foods but would have liked an option of whole fruit such as an apple or banana. Also the Mama Gio evening menu seemed limited - but perhaps allowed what was offered to be of good quality. Dates for the stay had to be changed owing to our original flight being cancelled and the hotel was willing to do so even though we had booked at the lower 'no cancellation/ change' rate - excellent customer service!

the staff was always professional and always available to answer questions. The staff did a great job with cleaning the room. It was a great experience.

Nice room with very good beds. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Dineroptions were limited but good. Busstop nearby, with busses that take you too different parts of the city. Would highly recommend it.
