Nice place! I will definately stay again

The only negative was, I was in a room by housekeeping- and could feel my bed shaking at various times in the night. First time, I thought it was an earthquake! :D After that, I realized, I was by housekeeping, and the machines in housekeeping kept moving the bed! LOL!

The stay started off for the most part normal. Weird thing is they have the doors lock and you have to be buzzed in. The room was nice and so was the breakfast. The problem started post check out. We were halfway home to Fresno, and I remembered I left my wedding rings in the restroom vanity. It hasn't been more then 2 hours since we had check out. I called the front desk so they could go up there and get them for us and we could drive back to Gilroy to pick them up. The young lady says the room hasn't been clean and they will go up there to check. She calls me back less then 10 mins that there are not there. I know I left them there. I check all my belongings and they weren't there. I then spoke to another gentlemen who says no one has gone in to that room since they won't be clean till the next day. I tell him well the rings didn't just walk up and leave. So either you haven't check or one of your employees pocket them. He said he would give me a call back if they found anything. No call received. My husband then calls later that afternoon and the lady at the front says the room will be clean that day and they will give him a call back. No call received. Just be careful when staying here. Don't forget your valuables like we did/ even though it's an expensive hotel the staff have sticky fingers. Or if your staying multiple nights don't leave anything valuable if there coming in to clean your room. Very disappointed in this hotel and its management.

Great Hampton Inn, if you are en route between Monterey/Bay Area/Southern California. Very new and clean and super friendly staff made for a terrific stay

I recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone for a peaceful getaway. Staff was excellent...gave us free bottled water. Room was exceptionally clean. Mattress was Perfect.

Overall- staff was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. Check in and out were a breeze- both times in which staff members were awesome. My only issue was there weren’t enough trash cans in the room. They’re were only 2 small trash cans in the room (one being the bathroom trash). We had to throw our plates from dinner- in the bathroom trash (which is pretty gross). We ended up having trash cans overflowing which in turn made things quite messy. Additionally- the room was really dark. There was not additional lamps or lighting in the living area. There was a desk lamp on the table and two small lamps between the beds (above the nightstand dresser). We were in a suite- able to accommodate up to 6 people so it was a decent sized room but just lacked lighting. We were forced to leave the bathroom light on and door open just to see.

Nice and clean. No sounds and good breakfast!

This was a very last minute booking. Staff was very welcoming. Area quiet and safe. The hotel was very clean and well maintained
