Comfortable common areas with beautiful gardens, perfect spot away from the downtown area but close enough to walk. Breakfast is incredible and the art is a nice touch!

Carl and family were super-helpful for all of our transportation and other needs, the charming courtyard was a great place to relax, the restaurant was very good, and the location was perfect for us. Highly ecommended.

Reserved months ago for New Year’s Eve. Arrived at the hotel to find out that my room was double booked and that other occupants were already there. Never received a notification and the owner had the audacity to tell me that he booked a similar room elsewhere. A lie. I had to stay in a dirty hostel with no clean water, etc

Gorgeous setting nestled between the mountain and waterfalls, only 3 blocks from the heart of town yet very tranquil. The place is full of very high quality Ecuadorian art, the beds are comfortable, the showers are out of this world, the breakfast the best in Ecuador and the owner and staff are super kind, fun, helpful and generous. When I come back to Banos, this is my place to go back to. Thank You Pricilla and Karl for your generous hospitality.

Beautiful, quiet location near the waterfall and wonderful staff! We stayed four days in two different rooms and both were great. Nice courtyard and delicious breakfast too.

What a wonderful place!!! Carl and Priscilla are incredible hosts that have created such a magical place with unique rooms, fabulous art and a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast was delicious! Walkable to anything in town, but tucked away from the noise. So perfect!!

This place is off the Main Street, so it’s quiet, yet everything is close enough to walk. The food is great, and the breakfast is cooked fresh, with generous portions. Karl is quick to help with any issues.

The owners are great!! Very welcoming. Breakfast great. Rooms are super cute. Mine had view of waterfall. Only thing...remove you have AC. No AC. And the atteet noise you cant control. But hotel was great!

Amazing- wow- The owner Karl and Priscilla are fantastic and beautiful. It's so beautiful, warming and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, views are fantastic towards the waterfall- Staff is so kind and one of the beat secrets in Baños. Would return anytime and please consider this. Thanks again! Wow!!

Just when we thought the hospitality could not get any better in Ecuador, we met Carl and Priscilla at La Posada del Arte! Our family of three (including a teen) had an absolutely wonderful stay to end our time in Ecuador. Carl gave us great suggestions on things to do and places to eat in the area. He also arranged taxi drivers (Adolpho was amazing) and our COVID testing that was required in order to return home to the US. But most astounding of all, after I had a bicycle crash (stupid pothole), which landed me in the emergency room, Carl actually came to the hospital to make sure that I was okay. We are so grateful to have had Carl and Priscilla looking after us and making us feel so incredibly welcomed. In addition to the hospitality, the inn is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, and breakfast is truly something special. We absolutely loved La Posada del Arte and everything that came with it!

What a beautiful place. I found The Inn of Art through an internet search. I had been to Banos before and loved the area around the waterfall and the thermal hot springs. La Posada del Arte fit the bill. 150 meters, or less, to The Cascade of the Virgin and the Thermal Baths of the Virgin. Out of all the spas in Banos with volcanic hot springs, that is my favorite. The hottest hot, and the coldest cold. My room (8) was perfect to me. Nice art on the walls, a fireplace!, large shower, a wardrobe, a queen size comfortable bed and a bunk bed set up if you had the children. The hallway outside the door led to a balcony that was perfect for viewing the waterfall and quiet enough to relax and read a book. An excellent breakfast was always served. Choices ranged from juevos rancheros to pancakes. Fresh juice and coffee. La Posada del Arte is located close to many other restaurants. Epocha, close by, was my place for rock and roll music, a beer and a good hamburger. Pancho Villas was also close by and their fajitas are excellent. Aromi Cafe and Chocolate serves an incredible chocolate torte and their hot chocolate is incredible. There is also plenty to do within walking distance. A soccer park, shopping, the bus terminal are all within 10 minute walk. Karl, Priscilla and their staff went above and beyond to insure I was comfortable. I loved all the art on display. I found sitting on the patio with a cold beer after the thermal springs refreshing. I'd go back.

I had a wonderful stay at Posada del Arte. The staff was very friendly and helpful even going as far as arranging a taxi for me very early in the morning. The property is unique and quite interesting with a lots of art throughout the hotel. The hotel was quiet but within easy walking distance of the main part of town. Prices were also very reasonable and well worth it. Great value for what you get! I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely tell all my friends that this is the "go to" hotel in Banos!!
