Second time here staying for business, and again impressed with the price, quality of rooms, great bathrooms. Free parking is a plus on top of the fact you can go into the spa and gym free, wonderful jacuzzi and sauna!
What really tops it for me is the staff, every time I feel I get first class service. As well as the food, have not had a breakfast this good in a long time!
I am signing up to book direct in future as will be visiting regularly for work.

Comfortable stay. I think it should be changed from the website and phone bookings that you do not have a restaurant and just a very small cafe, which looks nothing like the pictures online. Excellent gym. Room was very spacious although carpets and other items definitely need refreshing.

I love it here, working about 30 miles away but drove to stay here as I love it so much. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. One of the best things is that they let me join the yoga class

Facilities where good and the staff where very friendly. The room was clean and very quiet. The menu could be better in my opinion, it is very limited. The jacuzzi wasn't open which was disappointing but overall i enjoyed the stay. I would definitely return when next working in the area.

The lodge and reception are in different buildings so be aware if it’s raining. Room was compact, but clean and tidy. No room service. The restaurant is in the main building too. Reception staff were lovely. We could hear other guests above us, but it wasn’t an issue for us, though we would ask for an upstairs room next time. Not very level entrance to the lodge, so I’d be wary if not fit to walk unaided. Beautiful surroundings. At the top of a steep hill, so wouldn’t want to be here without a car. Very nice. We will return.

I love it here! Joined the yoga class which was very welcoming. The food is very good - reasonably priced and fresh. The only thing i'd change is the pillows, they are very old and lumpy. Seriously thinking of bringing my own

Lovely hotel and all the members of the team at the hotel made us feel very welcome. Great also to be able to use the leisure facilities.

I love it here. The staff are so friendly and I love all the facilities, I always join in the yoga class.
The bedroom is perfect and quiet, the only slight negative would be the pillows are a bit lumpy and could do with being replaced.

The staff were excellent, not one member of staff was 'off', all were cheerful and helpful. The kitchens had equipment failure and the attitude was a "we can do this instead' and all went above and beyond to make stay pleasant. The food was good in quality and content and good portions.

Lovely location with walkable access to the town centre. Our room was comfortable and easy to access. Good service and nice food in the restaurant.

Location to town and beach was excellent. Spa facilities were excellent. Did feel the room and lodge let it down. Our room was dark and small.

Great welcome, lovely surroundings. The room was nicely decorated and very clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Didn’t use the swimming pool or gym. Location is good, 10 - 15 minutes walk to the Pier.
I have knocked 1 star off because the shower is over the bath under a sloping roof. It is quite difficult to use as you can’t stand up (I’m only 5’4).

Check in was quick & simple room of a good size, clean with good size bathroom although the shower water went allover the window sill, breakfast served in clubhouse nicely cooked & presented will definately use again when down this way. Very competative rates for rooms.

Great place to stay , really good staff ,Henry was amazing ,so friendly and knowledgeable.
The bar staff where very polite and attentive , the room spacious , but shower was fir midgets , im 6 4 and 18 stone , so very snug .

Excellent customer services. Lovely wooded location beach front 10 min walk away. Lodge room comfy, clean, secure and quiet- everything needed. Spa / pool lovely and open late. Breakfast excellent and good value. Only minor downside was parking not always available outside the lodge but just a walk away.

Friendly staff and helpful. Check in by 21.00 might be too early for some. Parking spaces were a bit tight. Very pleasant surroundings.

Room though basic was very clean and a quiet.
One area for improvement would be room cleaned and replenished without having to request.

I absolutely love it here! Staff are excellent. As a guest you're allowed to join in any classes - I did a yoga class and it very good. The icing on the cake would be to have electric car charging.

Service was fine, gym and pool etc great. Stayed in room 6 in lodge, it’s a bit tired could do with a refresh. Limited parking also. Bathroom and shower was decent. Iron etc would be nice in room.

We didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Tucked away in a green surroundings. Comfortable. Good facilities. Helpful, lovely staff.

This was our first time here, and we loved it, very clean, nice big room, staff bent over backwards to help in any way they could.will definitely come here again, amenities were excellent expecially the pool. Steam room.big big thumbs up

Booked an executive double. Was far from executive! Carpet was dirty and worn and in need of replacing. Room was very dated.
Facilities are good in terms of Gym, Sauna, Steam room etc.

This is a lovely place to stay, even if you don’t play golf! Excellent pool and sauna/ steam rooms. The area is beautiful with a great view of all green nature. We’ll definitely go back for another visit.

5 stars - clean, modern, nicely appointed - very friendly staff, great facilities and location - but noisy - very noisy! Parking not great either. Traffic and train noise until the wee hours, followed by a dawn chorus of wheels on decking! Parking for guests only? Not enough!
