A wonderful stay with great views very comfortable friendly & gorgeous food
First night away after recovering from a stroke and really couldn’t have chosen better we will return to this lovely bnb & fantastic breakfast chef
Only down side was being disturbed by other guests early hours of the morning 12-2am showering & talking

Generally very clean and tidy with only a couple of cobwebs here and there but bed has not been moved in some time, the owners greeted us and were very polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome, limited parking considering they have 4 rooms, beautiful views from the property, I would give it a near perfect score apart from having no tv or radio in the rooms and milk for in room tea and coffee is provided in a small flask, breakfast is lovely.

Wonderful overnight stay. Situated in a stunning location with a quant little village only a few minutes walk away. The accommodation was spotelessly clean, the host was so helpful in meeting our request for a much earlier check-in. Breakfast was beautifully made and served with a choice of dietary requirements if needed. Honestly I'm giving this accommodation a100% recommendation. Many thanks for your kind and generous hospitality.

A wonderful stay, in peaceful surroundings with lovely views. Lots to like about this stay, from the comfortable bed, to the spacious bathroom with step-free shower, and the excellent breakfast. Rowena is an exemplary host, happy to provide recommendations and help wherever possible. Will definitely look to stay again.

The rooms were excellent, very clean and comfortable. Parking is available. The breakfast was also excellent with cereals, fruit and a full English. I would certainly recommend it. We stayed one night on the way up to Northumberland and enjoyed it so much we also stayed one night on the home.

Rowena and Brian made us feel very welcome on our journey up and back from Northumbria. The room was lovely, the property and particularly the views superb and the breakfasts - yummy. Diet needed. Definitely a place to return to next time we are up that way. Paul and Fiona.

Picked location based on proximity to Grenoside Crematorium and the car charger but exceeded all expectations. Room very comfortable and my wife said it was cleaner than our own home when our cleaner has just been! Car charger made life so much easier. Lovely breakfast too.

Needed a B&B for a stopover as we needed to attend a friend’s funeral. This was such a lovely find, fabulous place, exceptionally clean and an excellent breakfast. The location was close to where we needed to be, but would make an ideal place to stay whilst visiting the lovely countryside. Very peaceful and quiet (no TV’s in the rooms if that’s what you want). Would I stay there again……if I was in the area…YES.

We were in Sheffield for a musical event, and spent the night at Finkle Green. What a nice place! Green everywhere you look, a beautiful garden, always "a work in progress", according to our host, who made us feel very welcome with tea and a nice conversation. Very comfortable room, and a delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

This is such a lovely B&B and is of a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean, super comfy bed, very welcoming hosts and a great breakfast. It is a lot better than most hotels I have stayed in and I will stay again if I am back in the area.

What a fantastic place to stay!! The welcome and service that the hosts provide is first class. The property is spotless, comfortable and has amazing views of open countryside. Plenty of choice for breakfast with the option of plant based alternatives if that’s what you require. 10/10

If I have one little niggle it is the soundproofing between the bedrooms - being able to hear the neighbours bathroom noises is not good. Otherwise I would highly recommend this B&B. The breakfast was awesome!

We enjoyed our stay at Finkle Green. The welcome and service were excellent and the helpfulness over breakfast timings were very much appreciated. Breakfast was great with all and more than you would expect. Thank you, will certainly recommend.
