It was completely run down. We had no hot water. There was earwigs in the room.

They have very old rooms. It is clean and sanitized. It is still carpeted. They need to renovate the place. It has a nice view for Fall trees and colours.
Breakfast is complimentary but no protein.

We were traveling and were there for only one night . It is conveniently located right off the 400. Beds were good , and it included breakfast. They also have a indoor and outdoor pool. It would be great for kids . It was rasonable accommodations for a reasonable price

Liked the room, clean and comfortable, quiet. Big property, tennis courts, mini golf, outdoor pool, firepits. Breakfast is good, but all cold food, other than waffle maker and tea, coffee.
Indoor heated pool area is old and dated, hottub not running.

It was a perfect spot for what we needed. Great price, clean. The staff was nice, and the free breakfast was good which included a waffle maker. It is not high-end, but definitely worth the price.

Pretty big property. You can tell the building is quite old but the rooms were quite clean. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids, and there is a nice outdoor pool and pool deck for the guests to use. There is a small park for the kids and a mini golf course that although in slightly rough shape was fun for the kids none the less.

They had 2 fire pits with Muskoka chairs which is great to relax around and roast marshmellows.They had a BBQ for those who want to eat outside and a gazebo.They had indoor/outdoor pool,pool table and gym.They had ATV that you could rent.Also had a restaurant.One part of parking lot had not been paved but that wasn't a big deal.Property was clean.Room was clean.It had TV,microwave and small fridge.Close to the highway.Unfortunetly we were not able to use the facility and all it had to offer for our 2 day stay.We were there to visit the kid at their trailer and friends in French River.The weather was not the best on Sunday as it was pouring rain.It would be a great little getaway for a few days.

Nice property with pool and grounds. Nice to be able to check in with a dog. restaurant on site that allows dogs on patio. Service was friendly .

I like the entrance hall, breakfast area, outdoor play area and swimming pool. The room is really nice and convenient,too.

Stayed the night after golf at Seguin Golf Club as others in a our group did. For $300.00 for a night not worth it. Room needs to be updated, bed was uncomfortable, basically a glorified motel, that is run down.

Only two issues were limited t.v. and two conditioners--no shampoo for shower. Very pretty setting with easy access to Parry Sound.

The Jolly Roger is very easy to get to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit dated, and showed evidence of repairs that weren't quite professional, but they were clean and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was a nice bonus.

The grounds are good, it has indoor and outdoor pool, fire pits, play groundmini golf, tennis courts and ATV rentals. Its not a 5 star resort, but its a solid 3.5 are the price is right. Fun for small kids.

I think this property has great potential. Just needs an update.

The Jolly Roger was clean but very run down. This place has so much potential if it were updated. Indoor and outdoor pools, squash courts, miniputt (with weeds growing in it), laundry facilities, on site restaurant. A nice touch is a courtyard with firepits and bbq's which we did enjoy. Beds were old and our bathroom door did not close. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Here's an honest review....
The good: staff was awesome. Room was clean. Food was tasty. Decent price for the room. Pools were clean. Sauna was clean. Bed was soft and comfortable. Bartender was happy to "create" drinks for my wife.
The bad: food was over priced. Mini-golf had weeds growing through it. The walkways are uneven. Hot tub is permanently closed. You could feel the "slant" in the room (Had room 111 @ $125 per night).
Overall, for the price it was average. I've stayed in better but also stayed in much worse.
Would I go back.... Maybe but would plan on going to Parry Sound for meals if I did.

I loved the property!! Such a unique vibe for a motel type place. The rooms was incredibly spacious, the pool was warm and clean, the staff were super nice and friendly!! The only complaint I would have would be the food. I ordered nachos at the restaurant and aside from them being super slow to make food, they didn’t come with half of what it said on the menu, they were kind of soggy and not that warm and there wasn’t much for toppings, it just wasn’t very well done, but the restaurant staff were great!

Cute place with many different activities. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Building needs continued renovations to modernize. Sofa bed was inadequate for teenagers however staff provided an additional cot free of charge. Outdoor pool was big and had several pool toys but needed more daily skimming and deck cleaning. Adequate stay but not luxurious. Door knobs need maintenance. Taps needed maintenance. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast provided was very generous and staff was constantly cleaning and restocking.

An older facility but clean and friendly staff. We always stay here when in Parry Sound. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed but the kids enjoyed playing squash, basketball snd the oytdoor pool.

Was greatly impressed with the cleanliness of the room and especially the bathroom. Great shower. Bed was very comfortable, perfect pillows. We'll see stat here again.

Air conditioning units in the rooms very noisy. The mattresses were soft on the edges but hard to lay on. Fine for a night.

Great value - the breakfast was nice - enjoyed the waffle machines! Nice to have a pool and 2 campfires right outside my door.
Only thing they should improve is replace the carpets with floors in the room -- while it says non smoking, it's clear that there have been years of smokers and just general buildup... The room was spacious and comfortable -- I would go back.
