Amazing experience

Couldnt go, due to covid and couldn't get my money back, very upset

My husband and I have been coming to Ruidoso for several years. Staying in the cabins is a home away from home for us. We get a place to ourselves with all the amenities while enjoying the wildlife that travels through. I love the weather and how close it is to whatever we may need. We will always come and stay here.

Loved everything about the cabin, but we thought that the cabin had a kitchenette. Other than that was well pleased

No Wi-fi no amenities for a week for two not nearly enough towels or toilet paper

Overall…it was a great experience! I will stay here again!

For the price the cabin was OK. No place to store anything so if you plan on staying a few days you might try getting a bigger room so you have someplace to put suitcases. We just left our clothes in our suitcases and pulled them out as needed. Another reviewer said the sheets were thin, but ours were fine. Another said they were scratchy but I think they might allow the sun to dry them so they are not as soft as if air dried. There is no laundry as stated on some page I found about the property. They need to do some cleanup - remove building materials from beside cabins, clean the porch areas (a leaf blower would do it), and remove trash, especially in the back area. The place is not good for kids - there is one swing. We did see both deer and elk on the property so that was a plus.

Check in and check out were very easy, with detailed instructions. Cabin was cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway.

The pictures definitely look much nicer than it did in person, and they posted a picture of a lake that is not actually on the property, i still dont know which lake it was that was posted. Also the sheets and pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. And they have a to-do cleaning list for when you leave or you will be charged if you dont do it. It was clean and warm but overall wasn’t happy with the cabin

We had a very pleasant stay but the bed was a little uncomfortable and door didn’t shut very well so the cold air leaked and oddly with it being so cold we had ants and had to go buy spray to keep them out of our snacks. Cabin was much smaller than I thought it was supposed to be from looking at the pictures on the website.

Bed was uncomfortable. Only had pillowcases for 2/4 pillows. Didn’t have any towels to shower with. Floors weren’t swept.

Everywhere I sat there was dog hair !

It was not a cabin like stated. It was a cabin Shared with a STRANGER.

Terrible experience it was supposed to be something romantic and unforgettable for me and my wife due to anniversary, poorly cleaned the entire cabin, disgusting smell, broken sink, and bathroom very dirty, it was late and we were very tired to call and make the complaint, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Very disappointed.

Really nice. Exactly what you expect from a cabin. Easy to find the office and get checked in, cabins are just up the road. Very cozy stay with the fireplace.

misleading, no hot tub available to us. Difficult to get into. cabins too close to each other. no lighting at night. Too close to busy road and in town not in forest. very clean we made do but never going back.

The cabin was so Beautiful! I would definitely stay again.

The room was small, not much space to put things, was dusty, and outside noise was very easy to hear, including neighbor.

It was good everything was clean expected the fan had a lot of dust on it and the curtain had a ripped but other then that we like the stay it was quiet would stay there again.

This is a really cute place. The problems I had with it was the road noise. Next time we would want to stay in a cabin further from the busy road. The beds are hard and not very good if you suffer from back pain. Make sure that you keep your snacks in the oven or microwave because the ants will sure thank you for them.

It was cozy but didn’t have a fireplace and other cabins were given chairs and a grill but not ours.

Well for a night we survived. Fireplace had no wood. Bed was so old we woke up in serious pain. Sat in the front porch plastic chair and it broke apart as soon as I sat down. Sun destroyed it and made it weak. Even with the heat going it was frezzing!

Not the best but definitely not the worst. It's a cheaper priced place, so nothing fancy should be expected. The fridge had beer left from previous people, which made me feel as though the cabin wasnt thuroughly cleaned. I never noticed anything else left dirty though. Shower had paint peeling off the wall. Bed was on the harder side, and only had two pillows. We never did ask for more though. All in all it was a fine place to come back to and crash out after a long day in town. Not somehwere we would want to spend time hanging out at though.
