This is THE best hotel in the city. Ultramodern and chic with all the amenities. It is one of the more pricey hotels, but is conveniently located on the harbor and is walking distance to all the best shops, rainbow road and cafes/restaurants. The staff here are so friendly. One point of caution - when booking through this site the price point is better but breakfast is not included (and breakfast is AWESOME) also you don't get any Marriott benefits BUT booking through Marriott is much much more expensive. Remember to use the daily credit in the restaurant or you will lose it. You won't be sad about your stay here it was great!

Legitimately one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. Appreciated the welcome drink and restaurant credit. Beautiful view from our room, very comfortable bed, and an excellent bathroom. I wish they had a couple more rooftop nights open and would love to see the club space be open in the future.

Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant, the lobby, even the shampoo in the bathroom was great. Excellent stay.

The staff and service were incredible…. Hugo, Nico (bar manager) Matteo (front desk) Nick and the two gentlemen the concierge desk were beyond!!!! They were so accommodating and made are stay so amazing!

Eve (Ewa) at your front desk was a real stand-out. She repeatedly went to great lengths to help us with our sightseeing agenda and itinerary. She initiated the observation that Morgan had helped her the first time with maps, photos and site descriptions, but she was herself outstanding.
Every member of the staff with whom we had an interaction was courteous, friendly and helpful.
We had a terrific stay.

First time staying here in Iceland! It was gorgeous modern hotel. Very convenient. Walkable distance to the downtown area. The staff went above and beyond! We had a blast!

We had a great short day at this property. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was very central and we were able to a great deal, exciting places and then when we needed help with something after we left, Violetta was especially helpful helping to make sure I got taken care of.

Spectacular hotel with exceptional service. It is an icon of a building in Reykjavik, Iceland. The service staff were polite and very professional. I only want to stay here in Reykavik when I visit again. Great restaurants especially Tides and superb rooftop bar to see the sun setting.

Everyone who stayed at the Edition on our trip had a top-tier experience. Every hotel staff member was super friendly and helpful, and the complimentary valet parking in such a prime location was perfect since the main tourist areas were all within walking distance of the hotel. The interior was cozy and modern, and the cappuccinos in the lobby were perfection.
They have custom Le Labo scented products in the rooms and a matching fragrance throughout the lobby that is TO DIE FOR. I will definitely be staying here when I return to Iceland in the future.

Mattie, was above and beyond.

Everything was great but the gym was under renovation and unavailable. We would not have stayed if we knew. The gym looked awesome and was part of the reason we booked there. That was a bummer, they should have let people know.

This hotel was incredible! We got there exhausted early morning and they allowed us to check in right away and had a room ready for us. Its centrally located to everything and we were able to take the bus from Bus Stop 5. We also walked to the BSI station which is only 20 mins away. The staff were courteous and kind. Housekeeping always did a great job as well. I wish they had more chicken or vegan food options on their menu, but other than that, everything was perfect! I’d definitely stay here again.
