Not the cleanest property but nothing that would deter us from staying again. One minute walk to the beach. Loved that the family room had a seperate bedroom and 2 bathrooms

I didn’t like the false advertisement for the property, me nor my guest wasn’t able to shower nor sleep comfortably. The bathroom tub was rusty and dirty and not draining water properly only thing new in the bathroom was the toilet. Due to not being able to shower or sleep in a comfortable bed although I came into town to celebrate my 40th birthday I had to cut my trip short and go home. I was told I was gonna get my full refund but the owner has been dodging my phone calls so no one answers the phone all you get is the answering machine.

It has great location and immediate acces to the beach and restaurants. Easy access parking. The building is older so do not expect the latest amenities. Everything is functional.

Very nice location, beach and restaurants are just really 1-2 mins walking, the rooms needs a little love and maintenance, parking is safe and dealing with Will was a pleasure. other than that we had a good time.

Although, the property was old, it had all the amenities needed. Hotel is a 2-minute walk to the beach. Will definitely stay here again next time.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was small, but it was just me so it was perfect. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The beach was literally steps away, I could hear the ocean waves from my door. It’s right on the boardwalk, which is what I wanted when I booked. So many restaurants and shops to choose from.

It was a simply clean studio apartment. Clean with range, microwave and fridge.
Excellent location with beach less then 5 mins walking distance. Easy parking and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Only thing the place had going for it was location. Room was dirty. Family next door had cockroaches. Only had a half a roll of toilet paper, asked for more and they left for the day never giving us any. Had to resort to going to get some from the local bar. Also waited hours for clean towels and were told we shouldn’t need fresh ones everyday. Will never stay there again.

The location was great, very central to the restaurants and shops on the broadwalk. Only a minute walk away from the beach! Overall we had a great stay!

My stay @ Tropical Ilse was very comfy. I was right at the beach boardwalk & nearby shops. Property was clean. No bugs. The kitchen was supplied with cookware & glasses. Also the staff was friendly & catered to my needs. Beach towels provided & private parking was a plus. This will be my go to spot only for future trips. I really like this location

The property was decent and very affordable. Beware when booking it says you get welcome gifts upon arrival as well as a 2 for 1 buffet dinner but that is not true!!

My experience is based on the service I received at the property..
first of I booked through Expedia / when I arrived at the property they were charging me double of what I booked the place for, according to them it was a miscommunication. I reached out to Expedia they contacted the property right away and they informed me that I will get refunded right away for the same xtra charges .. On top of that they charge you 20 dollars per day for parking in the property … The site claims is Pet friendly and they do not allow any pets just keep that in mind if you want to bring yours.
The room was not bad / but we didn’t receive any house keeping for the 3 days we spent there.

I knew that this hotel was an older property. I was not expecting the Hilton. The kitchen was great.The bed was comfortable and the bathroom although older was fine for me. The shower had great pressure. I had plenty of hot water. The air conditioning worked great. On top of it all, was the perfect location for me! I can’t wait to get back to Hollywood Beach!

This property is falsely advertised. The pictures are absolutely not what you get in person. We left immediately and contacted the front desk for reimbursement and was told to go through Expedia

You can't beat the location and the price of this property, and the manager is very nice but we had to chase down the cleaning staff one morning just to get clean towels. Mind you, that was the ONLY time we got clean towels during our entire 4-night stay. Plus our room wan't cleaned once. Though everything is functional, aesthetically, the property is in serious need of repair, redecorating and renovation. There shouldn't be peeling, crumbling stucco and actual holes in the walls. And maybe some coffee and filters next to the coffee maker would be nice.

We checked in at night and it was a huge cockroach on the floor tin our room. I informed the property but there were no excuses

I reserved a room with 1 king and 1 twin as we were traveling with my adult daughter. I then requested a late check in due to a flight issue. Communication was poor at best to get a log in code to room. Upon arrival we went to our room to find it was a single full bed. I awoke the manger who then placed us in another room hour later. He stated he would resolve in the am. Then next we were moves to a room with a queen and pull out couch(not what was reserved) the manger Will states it was all he had. The room was okay at best not updated as website stated. Housekeeping was unapproachable when asked for a pillow an linens. No refund or explanation it was a basic take it or leave it situation for the 4 days of our vacation.

Is a nice place and close to the beach

I was there for a week and had a great stay. The location of this property is excellent. Just a few steps from the boardwalk in Hollywood Beach. The building is well kept and the rooms are very clean. Will is a great host, very friendly and attentive. I will definitely stay there the next time I go to South Florida. Thanks for everything Will!

You seriously can't beat it for the price. Its not fancy, but you aren't paying for fancy. Its clean, super close to the beach (second row, you can see the hotel from the beach). Small kitchen with the basics. Only a few units, quiet, but also very close to the best restaurants. We were able to check in early. Owner is nice guy, very responsive, got us anything we needed, gave us chairs and a beach towel for the beach.

Tropic Isle is PERFECT for my style of traveling. I travel alone and just need a place to shower and sleep because I leave for the beach all day. Will was my contact and he is great. Friendly. Happy. Good communicator. The price of the room was right too. Affordable and perfect location. It was a 40 second walk to the beach. I will definitely be staying here again.

I had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is located near the beach and Hollywood Boardwalk with lots of restaurants, entertainment options, and other attractions.
The owner was very friendly and helpful, and made sure that everything was perfect for my stay. The property was clean and well maintained, and had all the amenities I needed.
