The staff is pretty attentive here and helpful with tourism suggestions. The rooms are clean and designed well. We chose a balcony room and it was hands down my favorite decision. The view overlooks a small park and a historic tower even though you’re in the middle of the city. Plenty of restaurants and shopping all around you.

Hotel Luc is gorgeous, comfortable, immaculately well-kept, and beautifully situated on the Gendarmenmarkt. I was in Berlin for both work and pleasure, and my stay was an effortless delight. I also dined in the hotel restaurant and had drinks in the bar--both were excellent. Fassbender & Rausch (for coffee and cake) and Lutter & Wegner (for dinner) are mere steps away. Highly recommend.

The rooms were very spacious and the breakfast at Heritage was top notch. The hotel is quiet yet most places are close enough to walk to.

We loved our stay. Great location and clean. Walkable to most part of the city.

The cleaning in my room was terrible. I stayed 5 nights and the side tables had a lot of dust. It was not cleaned any day. The trash can in the bathroom was not emptied any day. Although it is a good location, the service is very bad.

Loved our 4 night stay in Berlin at the Hotel Luc. Perfectly situated for visiting all the main tourist spots, and also conveniently close to coffee shops, restaurants and upscale stores. Highly recommend walking across the street to the French Cathedral and climbing the 267 steps to the bell tower for the beautiful view of the city.

Very beautiful hotel, friendly staff, impeccably clean, perfect stay.

Front desk staff were excellent but the service in the restaurant was poor. The bar also doesn't open any later than the restaurant so can't get a drink past 10.45pm which is too early to close a hotel bar.

Quite and convenient

I did not like the breakfast set up.. if you pay the high fee to include breakfast, you are given a €39/day breakfast budget to order off the a La Carte menu.. Water was €5, cappuccino €8, etc.. when the “bill” comes you are asked to tip. I just stayed at a 5* hotel in Vienna, where not only was breakfast cheaper, but it had a buffet of pastries, cheese and cold cuts, lox, eggs & sausage & bacon, caviar, pate, five types of champagne, fresh juice, as many coffee drinks as you want, plus an a La carte menu to order off of which is included. The property was fine, no real amenities other than a gym. The location is very walkable.. I would not stay here again due to the breakfast. Also — you are not refunded if you don’t order to the €39 daily budget.

Wonderful hotel with a spectacular view !

Great spot if you want to hit all of the big sights in walking distance. Food options in the area are ok.

Hotel Luc is a beautiful, boutique-like hotel that overlooks the elegant Gendarmenmark Square. Service and amenities were wonderful, rooms are nicely appointed although ours was a little small (although the gorgeous view more than made up for it!). The hotel's bar and restaurant is beautiful but the breakfast was a bit lacking in comparison to what I've experienced at comparable luxury hotels throughout Europe. All in all, a terrific experience and we would gladly visit again!
