The staff is mega rude; they make you pay more to get the basic necessities & accommodations; & even send you to rooms below what you’ve booked. Then threaten to not check you in; in order for you to lose your non-refundable reservation! It’s really Sad how they treat many guests!

Hard to find the entrance/reception, no parking. Ad was deceitful, it’s not on the water. People in the area very scary. Did not use at all! What a refund.

Nice place, friendly personal

The fact that the manager up and left me while checking in because her shift was over says it all. I was in desperate need of a last minute place to stay so quickly booked. Needless to stay we stayed for three hours and went to the Sheraton a few miles away.

Great location

Location was amazing... really enjoy watching the boats go by in the am.... could use a deep cleaning....and new blinds....for better privacy.had a beautiful deck on canal but was not accy. Which would have been nice too sit out there in the AM and have coffee.

Went to check in at the property to find out they cancelled our booking because they did not have a credit card on file. We were never asked to put one on file, Expedia still showed us as confirmed and told me everything should be fine. However, standing at check in at 2am with 3 tired children I had to rebook at the front desk for more than what I was paying through Expedia. Over the course of our stay I heard a few more people dealing with the same issue at check in. On top of that the rooms were not updated since the 1970s and overall very bare. Very scammy, would never recommend nor stay again.

The room smelled like smoke. They have a coffee pot in the room, but did not supply coffee. Nice access to the beach and boardwalk .

The bath floor was loose, no air condition like a console

This place and all hotels under Hollywood Beach Hotel management are grimy motels. The hotels are very run down and everything is dirty. The pool and room only gets cleaned every 3 days. When the rooms do get cleaned, the staff do not clean the floors or bathroom. They essentially change the sheets and towels. The staff doesn’t even walk around with a cleaning cart. Pools also do not smell of chlorine and are often filled with dirty, sand, and other debri. The one time our room was cleaned, the staff left a huge pile of the used sheets and towels right in front of our door for the remainder of the trip (2 days). The breakfast buffet area was also never cleaned. My kids spilled a few pieces of cereal on the floor, which stayed there during our entire trip. The noise level was also intense at night. Other hotel guests would stay up outside near the pool and drink / laugh until 3 am every night. There were signs banning any gathering around the pool after 8pm but this was not enforced by staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Del Mar and will most definitely be returning!! When looking for a place to stay I did a lot of research. We decided upon Del Mar. Such a great family vacation with friendly neighbors and staff. Couldn’t have asked for a better location either. I think Del Mar is the best place out of all of Hollywood beach hotels. Highly recommend. How could you not have a great time when the beach is just steps away.

Close to the beach and restaurants. Property needs updates but was clean!

The TV's nor the WiFi was working. I called to report and they sent the security guard who didn't even know what was going on. The walls and floors are very thin so you can hear everything from other rooms. Didn't get a good night's rest because of all the noise. The bed was comfortable.

$19.99 hidden Parking fee $100.00 hidden "room deposit" Room was sleepable with ceiling fans, cut AC did not work. Office not located at property! Office ¹½blocks away from property on another street, and, "Free" breakfast 2 blocks away! Finally, english is a second language here in the office. I needed a transistor to understand what was being saud.

Property is convenient for beach access and going down the boardwalk to some amazing restaurants. Parking is always a challenge as they don’t have enough spots for each room to even park 1 car. Have to pay additional for parking them still park many blocks away and walk(which is extremely inconvenient for a handicap person like myself). Internet was out for 2 of the 4 day stay, that was annoying as those happen to be the days we planned on just staying in the room and relaxing.

Broken ax, broken door lock/ hinges, randomn people know Knocking on door at 4am…. Frequently broken electronic key. Floors feel like they are about to cave in. Desperate need of renovations.

This property was filthy, smells like it’s infested in mold. We all left there feeling sick.

Wrong room

Staff is rude guys and girls. They take forever to process individuals and just all around not polished or well spoken. Don’t expect to get responses in complete sentences or please & thank you. Resort fees but no resort; parking fees to possibly not have enough spots to park and walk blocks away to park. Breakfast is in another building blocks away; pools look dirty and dingy- not updated. If you want to get away real cheap for a few nights go ahead but don’t expect certain niceties

Hi We booked a king bed suite with Beach view. Took us 3 times Going back to office to get Correct room booked. One was A really small studio! Not helpful in providing necessary items for the room. No dishwasher liquid. We found out 3 days later when we went to Catch a can at office and saw a guest Receiving sponges and dish soap

Nice view and location, not super clean, a.c broke and it took 48h to get another room, included breakfast is "ok" but lady in charge is cranky and treats people very bad. Rooms need tlc. Office where check in and out happens is 3 blocks away from hotel and service is super slow. There is a convenience store inside the office, they will serve the clients that want to buy beer before real clients that want to check in or out, biiiiig mess !!!! My advise, ifnyou can afford better, do it, if youre not very picky, try it !!.

Horrible it was horrible, there is no office at the place or anyone to welcome you when you arrive, we had to knock we had to knock on somebody's door and they directed us to a building about six blocks away where we were greeted in a very terrible way, the room is a mess the remote controls for the televisions are non-existent there is nothing when it comes to cleanliness not toilet paper no clean towels it was completely Madhouse hi when the time comes to check out I nobody knows anything about where you're supposed to check out again you have to travel okay to about six or seven blocks to go and check out at a different building from the one you were created to they say breakfast included but there is no breakfast or anything that's looks like it someone told me that the brakes was to be given before 10:00 a.m. at a building 12 blocks away from where we were staying horrible it was horrible

Anyi, Maria, Paula and the rest of the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was super comfortable and clean, and the bed is great.

This time around was actually decent from previous stays. Liz is the best! That girl knows customer service. Stay was very convenient to the beach…

Was great the place is so nice and clean the staff are great really friendly. I stay a week the place had a seating area to relax and seating area; 2 bbq we really love it. was excellent. We enjoy our stay.

BAD NEWS - This hotel is now owned by Hollywood Beach Hotels. This hotel operator is the worst in the US. His name is Mark Eisenmann. This hotel used to be owned by Oceans Sound. My experience was awful.
